Morning, it started off here early this morning with a red sky, very lovely. Had a squirrel up the bird stand, first one, nicked some seed and then scurried off, much to the dog's amusement. Been up most of the night so waiting for a phone call and then off to bed for some rest.

Yesterday it was warm enough to sit in the garden, I think we are going to be back to winter tomorrow.

Just packed for a week down south.'Kitchen"and 'sink'come to mind Its so unpredictable .Had fabulous warm week in Cornwall last year and had all the wrong clothes .So threw some T shirts in.Car says 9 degrees

Good morning all. It's sunny here in Cheshire at the moment, but I am going south for the weekend and at the moment am revising my ideas about what clothes to take with me. Some re-packing is called for.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. Cloudy here in South Yorkshire after all yesterday's wall to wall sunshine, but dry so that's okay. We had a wall-to-wall busy day yesterday so a gentle two mile walk down to the pub for lunch and back later - that will be enough for today! Have a good day, folks!

Good morning to you all, it is wet here. Had a lovely lunch yesterday with new people, although a couple of them found finicky fault with what I considered perfectly good food - can't please everyone, I suppose! House work today because of the rain, and fish and chips for lunch - it is all about food for me! Take it easy annsixty, knees are a nuisance.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Weather on a downward towards the weekend. I have developed a cough and sniffles.
Need to go to Asda to get a monkey shaped birthday cake that DD2 has requested-she will be 29!
Why won't doctors accept that we know our own bodies annsixty? Hope you get some relief soon.

It's a chilly grey morning here on S.E. Hampshire coast and I can see a few rain drops on the windows. Wish it would warm up. I have some sweet peas waiting to transplant but dare not risk them out at night just yet.

Nothing much on the agenda for today but events may change that.

My sympathies annsixty - you have a lot to cope with and the constant pain from your knee can't help. Go safely.

Dull here in Stockport. I am off to Manchester this morning, an appt to see a consultant about the polyp behind my retina. Yesterday's news was not good , an injection would have been a waste of time as the damage to my knee joint was so bad and a knee replacement is the only answer to my pain. I wanted to say "I told you so ".

There was a sunrise in north Norfolk, but it was very orange and angry looking. Gone now as big black clouds have rolled in. And we're off for a week in the caravan tomorrow. So glad we've got a good heater in this one!
