Yes, it was interesting to see the claims assessor who said he had at times earned many thousands of pounds a month for rushing through interviews in the early years of Capita's contract with the DwP. It was also interesting to see his total lack of professionalism and his foul, disgusting comments about claimants. This obnoxious man was thought by other members of the staff team to be an effective assessor and a good role model - heaven forbid! Fortunately, he has got the sack but how many more like him are employed and what does it say about this company's selection processes?
There no doubt are claimants who are "swinging the lead" but to use this sort of conveyor belt approach to everyone and to employ people who are so obviously unsuited for such sensitive work is, in my view, wrong.
