DDs and respective families are off for their annual Easter week in the Highlands. DSil went out for a bike run yesterday, came off on a bend and fell down a gully. He fractured his leg and was suffering from hypothermia by the time the emergency services got him out. Awkward terrain meant he had to be airlifted by helicopter to Inverness. He's now back at holiday cottage with plaster, crutches and pain killers. Thank goodness that's all that happened to him....it was pretty hairy for a while. Fortunately dd had his route.
