Good morning.
Late start for me as I couldn't sleep last night. Even after looking after the 2 and 5 year olds all day, can't understand that.
Visiting Mum in care home today.
DD has invited me to go with her to her cake club this evening, I would love to go, but would also love an early night.

Oh that sounds fun ginny. Just housework for me today but out with friend tonight for pizza. Sunny and was frosty in north Beds.

It's a foggy start to the day in the Tyne Valley. DS is coming for his lunch, and to leave me his car as I need my own transport on a Friday. I have tagliatelle and mince for lunch. I'll probably make spaghetti bolognese.

A better day than expected yesterday for the birthday , it went well but I was shattered and as soon as the clearing up was done from dinner H and I were off to our beds leaving D and S and GC to catch up with all their news.
D will want to go out somewhere today but I don't think my leg will let me.

Calm before the storm here as we have 3 of our DGC for a sleepover and swimming tomorrow .

I see a dull morning of working out the best new phone contract this morning but at least my sore throat seems to finally be giving into to the medication !

Good morning everyone. Some high cloud around here in Cheshire I am off to Fryers roses Knutsford way. I wonder what I might come back with?

We are always up by 6am Newquay - engrained habit from long years of commuting to far flung workplaces and as I don't like crowds, we always nip off to Tesco as soon as we get up to avoid them! I am usually in bed to read for an hour, by 9.30pm and manage fine on that routine!

Goodness Gagagranwhatever time were you up? How much sleep did you have then? I'm writing from sunny Staffordshire. Off to work this morning for our DD1 who lives nearby and is self employed. Busy day today, last day before change to stamp duty DH will take DGC 6 and 7 to local playbarn about 11am and for lunch. Hopefully I will have finished after lunch so might have them for a couple of hours, down the local (Granny's) park on their new bikes while I sit with my code word and one eye on them.
Don't expect to have time in garden.
Off to one of my choirs tonight?

I've had an exciting start to this lovely sunny morning. Been to Tesco and done the shopping. Hurrah! Much quieter than last Thursday - the Easter shoppers were out in force even at crack o'dawn o'clock.

Taking DS to Orthodontist this morning, lunch with DDs and DGSs, then to visit MIL who is having respite care while SIL has a holiday.
Back home to finish off painting kitchen/diner.

It's quite a bright start in North Leicestershire but I have the world's worst headache after a friend coming round last night and offloading the demise of yet another relationship till late last night.

My excitement knows no bounds either PRINTMISS as I have a trip to Sainsbury's this morning and then a visit to mum on the horizon.

Good morning to you all, I am up a little earlier than usual today because the other half has a blood test booked for 9am and he worries about being on time, getting worse as he gets older, and always waits for me to get up first. Well, we have that in the morning, and then someone from the Fire Brigade coming to check on our fire alarms, we need louder ones, but not sure if they are available. Once again, I am not sure if I will be able to endure the excitement. Enjoy your days.
