Good morning everyone. I am currently with DDs in Surrey. Have been helping one of them all week move house and I think everyone is totally exhausted, including me. Will head home to NIreland this afternoon. Here in Surrey it is dull and cold. At home apparently it is wall to wall sunshine confused

Going home to look after DGSs 1&2 for the week as they are off school for Easter. And to prepare for rest of family (10) coming for a week from Friday.

I need a holiday ?

Morning all - the sun is out this morning and all is well. The holiday clothes were washed and dried yesterday and I must iron them today. If I'd have been perfect I would have ironed all yesterday but I really couldn't be bothered. Is there anyone else out there who dreads the ironing after the holidays or at any other time?

Morning all.

N.Bucks is dull but dry at the moment.

Family lunch for DD1s birthday today, 8 adults,1 teenager and a small baby. 4 generations. Son I -L is making main course and I have made a red Velvet birthday cake which will serve as dessert too.

Hopefully the weather will be kind and we can walk off lunch this afternoon.

Morning !

Its a dull , grey start to the day here in our part of Essex.

Smashing day yesterday celebrating DD2s birthday so today is all about crafting - don't come and visit ;-)

Beautiful here in our valley.

Humbertbear Sun 20-Mar-16 08:53:19

Very grey here but ideal conditions for the North London Half Marathon which is running through our district this morning

Looking like a good day weather wise for most of us.
Family lunch out today, daughters birthday. Hoping to survive without squabbles.
I know that sore back feeling NfkD, take it carefully.
Happy Sunday everyone.

Yippee! DH has just limped downstairs and suggested we move the boat tomorrow when the boatyards are open (just in case the engine plays up, it being an elderly boat with an elderly engine which has been sitting cold all winter). Excuses, excuses! He shouldn't have tossed DGS around so much!

I hope your bait boat proves a good buy Pittcity, and definitely needs a celebratory meal out!

The sun nearly came out just now. sunshine

Good morning all!

It's brightish in North Leicestershire and I think it's a gardening day here too! Then roast leg of lamb for dinner. I suppose I'd better get up then.

Enjoy your Sundays everyone!sunshine

Yorkshire woke up bright and beautiful. Is it the first day of spring? It looks like it. The bird table is full of squirrels eating the expensive pink suet stuff and the pair of mallard ducks that arrive every spring came last week. A beautiful start to the day.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester.
Road trip today to collect an EBay bargain - a bait boat for DH. Hope it stays dry as I expect we will have to test it out. Hopefully the trip involves a meal out!

Morning everyone,
A bit dull here, but I can see a slight shimmer of blue in the sky, so here's hoping!
Nothing planned today - we have our DS's dog staying with us for a week, so DD won't be round with her dog as she usually does on Sundays (the two dogs get on, but a bit too well - they create utter havoc chasing around the house!)
Enjoy your Sunday, folks sunshine

PRINTMISS Sun 20-Mar-16 07:57:55

Good morning everyone, the sun is trying its hardest to come through the clouds, so it is brightish again, as yesterday, not sure if the cold wind is still with us, haven't ventured out yet. Not a lot planned for today. Enjoy your days.

ninathenana Sun 20-Mar-16 07:51:01

Morning all.
Grey start here too. Hopefully it will be a repeat of yesterday when the sun appeared at about 11am.
A lazy Sunday for us, enjoy what ever you do.

NfkDumpling Sun 20-Mar-16 07:24:35

Morning All

A grey start here too although it is a bright grey!

We took boy and dog to Redwings horse sanctuary yesterday and I picked DGS up to pet a pony, he squirmed to reach pony's nose and this morning my back is soooo stiff! DH has ambitions to move little boat to her summer moorings today and I'll be expected to do the leaping ashore bits. Fingers crossed - it could be a wet landing!

Have a relaxing Sunday Everyone.

Morning All. Another grey start in our corner of Somerset. Dry though. DGC still asleep so enjoying the quiet. Complexities of breakfast to come. Hope Sunday is kind to you.

Good morning , lots of beautiful layers of silvers and blues radiating over St.Andrews just now - it feels like a gardening day ! There's a slight breeze so maybe a good day for the washing , too !
