The last film you saw ( at the cinema)?

DH and I took the 3 grandchildren to see the new Jungle Book on Friday night. We all thoroughly enjoyed it . Quite an expensive treat when you take into account drinks and popcorn .

Eddie the Eagle, last week. It was excellent.

Saw The Man who knew Infinity last night. Excellent. Managed to not fall asleep for even a minute!!

I enjoyed Bridge of Spy's to. I think Mark Rylance is brilliant.

Going to see Eye in the Sky this afternoon.
It sounds just the sort of dilemma I would be interested in.

The Lady in the Van on Tuesday night at the Village Hall film club. £4 includes tea and biscuits.
A few weeks ago a gang of us went to see Dad's Army. DH is in a wheelbarrow display group called the Arrowbarrows and they went in their flying suits etc. I'm only a 'hanger on' but I dressed up as well as Mrs Pike. It was fun and the other people at the cinema enjoyed seeing us all.

James Bond. Great beginning but I felt a bit of the same. How he survives these fights. Miracle man

We saw two in a week a while ago - unheard of for me, but I really wanted to see them both, and both were brilliant. And now I can't even remember the titles!!

One was about the exposing of child abuse in the Catholic Church in Boston.

The other was about the only bloke who apparently saw the financial crisis of 2007/8 coming, and bet millions on it, while the likes of Goldman Sachs took his money but thought he was crazy and laughed behind his back. The actor who played the leading role was superb.

Saw Eye in the Sky last night - gripping stuff. Good exploration of a moral dilemma in a time of conflict - with both sides explored but no conclusion reached. Good ensemble cast, and Helen Mirren & Alan Rickman both excellent, as ever

The Bubs and I went to see The Jungle Book last night , fabulous cinematography if you still call it that ? Clever, clever stuff . I didn't fall asleep - it had me leaping out of my seat and squawking . Strangely enough , the kids weren't impressed with it all . Good night out though .

I think it was Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl. DH and I went when we took our DS to university at Lincoln, and he's 31 now!!

I may have exaggerated the size of the coffee slightly, roses. But gosh, those paper cups are big these days. If I have to pay for them, of course, I always go for the smallest

We usually visit the cinema every week using an app to buy two tickets for one price - about £6.50 for two. We sometimes buy a hot drink but never anything else as far too expensive. Last film was Eddie the Eagle next one will be Eye in the sky on Wednesday.

I think it was " Far from the Madding Crowd' . Good but not a patch on the Julie Christie one.

Bridge of Spies at our local Senior Vue showing. £6 something for the two of us, including a bucketful of coffee and some choc chip cookies. We go most weeks on a Tuesday lunchtime - I've seen more films this year than in the past 20 put together. Ah, retirement

Saw - Bridge of Spies which we both loved. Missed Brooklyn as it was on while we were in UK. Room is in here this week but I think I will give that a miss - read the book. We get the films in English but with French subtitles - very interesting. We get a recent English Language film here each week - two showings - and once a month they do. Family film such as the Snoopy one on a weekend afternoon. Small French town and the cinema is run by volunteers but gas threeD and good sound and comfy seats! -8€ each.
Quartet was in UK Tv a couple of weeks ago late one evening. I enjoyed it.
