'Bus explosion' on Lambeth Bridge

Totally without thought for the reactions it would cause. Insensitive and irresponsible in the extreme. Surely computer-generated images could have been used in order to avoid something so graphic and upsetting - especially involving a red double-decker bus

I live up in Lincolnshire so can not comment on why they were given permissions to film on the bridge .But I can comment on how the film shot of the explosion was shown over and over on the BBC and SKY news service, the first I saw of the explosion was a glance at the tv and a feeling of panic and sickness came over me ,we have a daughter and family down that part of England . The rest of the day we were shown the same shot over and over ,did no one in a high office stop to think of the upset such a explosion would evoke in people through out the country .

Moan moan moan, unless you were one of the minority upset by the explosion Carry on enjoying your movies!

I don't know why CGI wasn't used unless it's a marketing ploy for when film is released.

Having watched the clip on the news I can totally see why it has caused a bit of a storm.

It must have been terrifying for those living and working in the area especially.

I would have thought that something computer-generated could have been used. It was totally grim and wholly unnecessary and insensitive in a city who suffered so much in a bus explosion.

Heard on the radio that someone whose daughter died in the 7/11 atrocity was working in the area. Not good.

I agree totally. Insensitive at best. "Anything for publicity" at worst. Must have been horrifying for anyone seeing it from a distance and not realising it was a filmset.
