An apology

(47 Posts)

I would like to apologise for any bad tempered posts I might have made over the last few days! I'm really stressed and things p**s me off quite quickly! Normal cheery kitty type service will be resumed eventually!

Teetime Mon 08-Feb-16 08:55:37

kitty here's a toast to you wine and I hope you are feeling better - and you weren't particularly snippy anyway.

granjura Mon 08-Feb-16 09:35:08

I have apologised to kitty- this was the last thing she needed. My post was in support of her troubles with the 'idiot' as posted on another thread.

Why couldn't people just ask nicely why I had posted? So simple.

((( hugs and good bye))) to kitty.

Anya Mon 08-Feb-16 09:43:11

I doubt if you were grumpy kitty but we all get days like that and I hope people remember that before they jump in and bite flowers

baubles Mon 08-Feb-16 10:05:06

More flowers kitty, hope you have lots of vases sunshine

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 08-Feb-16 10:52:42

Oh for flips sake! Why bother to start a head to apologise??? Surely a quick word on he read/threads would be fine?

wineflowerscupcakesunshinesmile and especially, hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 08-Feb-16 10:55:11

Oh! And, of course, the one we haven't got. Unfortunately. [fingerdownthroat]

kittylester Mon 08-Feb-16 11:27:13

Sorry to have upset you jings, smileflowers

grammargran Mon 08-Feb-16 11:31:16

jinglbellsfrocks I love your posts. I don't post here very much, but I love the way personalities shine through. I find, too, that the more you try not to offend, the more you do. So much depends on the way things are said and the expression on the face of the 'sayer', so it's much easier to get under people's skins when comments are simply read. "Mum/Nan, you are so daft" said with a huge grin and an enormous enveloping hug goes right over my head. (And I do ignore the rolling of eyes ........ )

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 08-Feb-16 11:43:32

grin You didn't upset me kitty.

It's all these flowers making the place look like a funeral parlour. hmm

kittylester Mon 08-Feb-16 12:05:55

Now, you see, funerals are part of why I'm stressed at the moment. Would anyone notice if I nicked some for the funeral we are going to tomorrow? grin

Stansgran Mon 08-Feb-16 12:07:18

Was it the bullet one? She said nodding her head sympathetically.

kittylester Mon 08-Feb-16 12:10:48

Yep, think so, stansgran! I thought I was being flippant! blush

And, tomorrow I'm having my colours done, the funeral is the next day. The widow has asked that everyone wears something blue or yellow - what if my colours consultant says I can't - eeeekkkkk!!

Jalima Mon 08-Feb-16 12:21:30

No apology necessary kitty
And I did offer you an alibi grin

Take no notice of the colour consultant, everyone can wear blue!! Trust me hmm
Not so sure about yellow though.
Chin up and tcrgrin

Hi Ladies, hope you don't mind my late morning visit and interruption, just nearly got blown over trying to put some lanterns up for the Chinese New Year party , given up for an hour or so.

I have never had the privilage of reading Kitty's blogs, but she seems to be held in warm affection.

I thought it was me that is the grumby old b*****, pleased to hear there are a few others around that keep trying to put the world right with a smile.

Kitty, sit down, have a strong cuppa. Sing yourself a little ditty " Keep on smiling"" and you will soon feel better.

If you don't, then come back on line give us all hell and you will get rid of that vexation.

James, (now I have given my name away) Wow !

annifrance Mon 08-Feb-16 12:24:23

Kitty - snippy is fine. We all are at times and it's no good pretending we aren't. Noone is perfect, we are all different and therefore have different POVs and if we can't let it all out from time to time with our own peer group who benefit from years of living then it's a bit sad.

POGS Mon 08-Feb-16 12:56:07

Jalima smile

mrshat Mon 08-Feb-16 17:38:28

Hang on in there kitty. Snippy is fine when necessary. We all understand! smile

Penstemmon Mon 08-Feb-16 18:11:17

Apologies are not needed when you make a general post, which yours was kitty smile

Surely that is part of this forum function: to let of steam, share worries & concerns, explore ideas, seek opinions etc.

Apologies are only really needed if there have been inappropriate and/ or unkind personal comments /squabbles! Those are probably best done by PM!

Penstemmon Mon 08-Feb-16 18:12:50

the apologies by PM I mean..not unkind comments!! confused

NfkDumpling Mon 08-Feb-16 19:06:40

How have you been snippy Kitty? Which thread? I either missed it or didn't notice. Despite all you have on your plate you always brighten my day, so now I'm really curious. I bet your idea of bad tempered snippyness isn't a patch on some of the remarks which fly around so feel free!
