It's blowing a gale and chucking it down here on the S Wales border - OH is venturing out to make sure the drains up the road are free of leaves - much against my wishes- he has PD, weighs under 8 stone and is wobbly on his feet - but can I stop him? - No! Crazy man!

Rubbish weather set for a few days I believe.

Good morning all. Here in Co. Down it is wet. No change there then! Just looked up the forecast for the next few days. Sunday - wet; Monday - wet; Tuesday - wet. You get the picture.

Trying to gather up the energy to take the pup for a walk and get rid of some her pent up energy.

DGS 1 and 2 coming to stay for a week while mum is away in US so need to get cracking.

Morning All. Windy and oh so wet in our corner of Somerset. The puddles are joining up. Hope Saturday is kind to you.

South east Cornwall is being battered by a wet and windy storm at the moment. I have to go out to do the church photocopying, then staying in baking. Quiz in the village hall tonight then I'll catch the last hour of folk night in the pub.

Good morning, grey and dull here but it is not raining. GC are coming this afternoon so I am trying to conserve some energy.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Damp in the air but not quite raining yet.
I have cleared out the bottom of a wardrobe before breakfast and now just have to persuade DS to get rid of a half finished Airfix plane that hasn't been touched for many years!

Good morning from an overcast but dry (so far) mid Essex. We have had very little rain recently but a wet day forecast for today. For the next few days I will be making sure everything is up to date indoors as I am having surgery in ten days and will be a bit restricted for a while. Good excuse for spending more time on GN.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning. overcast here, and rain promised, so I am hoping to go out early - I left my bowls at the club-house yesterday, and will need them for a match on Monday, so must go to collect them today - a nuisance - then off to the library, and the one event I cannot wait for - SHOPPING! Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone.
It's cloudy but calm and dry in the Tyne Valley. Quite cold at 3°c. I expect the rain to head my way by this afternoon. Quiet day for old dog and me as DH is at work.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning!

It's pickling down here in North Leicestershire and looks to be set in.

It is National Libraries Day today so please brave the rain and support your local library especially if it is Community run. I am tasked with trying to attract more volunteers this morning.

Well done on your petition Mick, I hope your are successful. DS1 is involved with a 38degrees one here as the bus to the hospital has been axed!

Good morning!
It's pelting down with rain here in Wiltshire; it woke me up at 4.30, so I'm not a happy bunny ?

Might do some baking today I think.
