Good morning. Guess what! It's raining...again.

Good morning, bright and sunny in the north east after overnight rain. Another one who had a disturbed night and not feeling too clever this morning.

Good morning, Michael and everyone. Sun is shining here. Trying to drag myself into the land of the living. I managed to stab myself in the hand doing something in the kitchen yesterday and it was hurting like hell during the night. It has settled down now, but I got about two hours sleep soak more like a zombie than usual! My own stupidity. Have a good day people.

Fairly bright and now the sun is shining on the Tyne Valley. Gone back to bed for a little nap as was disturbed in the night by the dog. DS is coming for a roast lamb lunch so I can't stay here too long!

Thanks for all the good wishes. They have put some sunshine into my day even though it is rather overcast outside. Just been out and seen two magpies ... I tell myself I am not suoerstitious, but they cheered em up too

Damp but bright here today - I've got the day off as the council are surveying to see if my house needs new windows( no thank you , they're fine ) so I've to wait in all day . I'm pottering about catching up on wee jobs . I'm boiling up scabby paint brushes that I've let go hard ( I'm boiling them in vinegar first then have to soak them in a foil lined tray to soak and Voila clean brushes ?? House is stinking !!!!

Dark and damp here in Stockport. My day is truly exciting as I am going out for coffee this afternoon. First outing for 2weeks although I did go across the road to wish a friend happy birthday yesterday.

It's a very exciting day at Lester Towers today: Sainsbury's, the boiler is being serviced and the broken panel on the conservatory roof is being replaced - can I cope with all the excitement?
