There is a thread on MSE about farting (did warn you) and this posting had me and OH rolling about

^The day that one farts in front of their partner is always considered a milestone in any relationship. I remember my first time...

It couldn't be helped and it had to come out. It was loud and vibrant and there certainly was an echo. My girlfriend was livid, I could see the rage building up in her expression. Her parents didn't seem to mind so much, almost as if they were pretending it never happened. The rest of the congregation were not so polite and there were many tuttings and mutterings.

Still... there'll be other funerals.^

Just read these posts and I am from a family who love lavatorial humour ( I'm one of 5 - 3 brothers).
I have lolled at this thread with tears rolling down my cheeks!!!
Thank you so much for entertaining me on a wet, nasty Saturday. I really needed this to make my day as my DH still in bed (as is the norm any day of the week) - he's never been diagnosed as Bipolar but I, and our 4 DC think he is definitely on the spectrum.
Love GN - keeps me sane and has loads of helpful advice.
