The headteacher at my RC primary school was Mr. Cain. But he used a strap on the boys. Girls were sent over the road to the Poor School (no really) where there was a female teacher qualified to give us girls the cane. Only once in my case.

The cook at my children's primary school was Mrs. Cook.

Our Biology teacher at school was Doctor White. You can imagine the giggling from his teenage pupils.

A while ago our local Thompson Directory listed a Dr Pain and a Dr Coffin. I know someone whose maiden name was Hunter and her married name is Fox. She should have gone double-barrelled.

Posted earlier about the Dentith and Dentith team kitty- but it vanished somehow.

Our vet here is called M. Lalla- which we all find funny as our DD2's dachsie, Slinky, loves him to bits. DD2 has always been called Autie Lalla, by our GCs.

OH has a very large primary school teacher called Mrs Vast.
