Forty winks has been had, I actually made a success of our meat pudding, and the cake I made, (not together!) so perhaps I should be grumpy more often. Raining again.

Morning everyone. It's been a wild and wet night here on the south coast and I slept badly what with the noise from storm Jonas's dying gasps and my aching joints. So I am grumpy too Printmiss. I should think 40 winks may be on the programme of events later.

Happy days all! sunshine

Good morning all.
Another unhappy bunny here. I have had to cancel my angiography appt in Manchester tomorrow which means more injections until it can be rescheduled. This flu is a b****r and I hope very sincerely it stays away from you all .

Good morning all, I am decidedly grumpy this morning, the other half was up before me, and I am not a happy bunny with someone else in the kitchen in the early morning. Never mind, it has stopped raining and the wind is a little less than it was, and our next door neighbour is home from staying with her son because she was not well. Enjoy your days.

Hey ninathenana it has definitely cleared up since I posted - perhaps I won't need to pack a hairbrush for a trip into Faversham after all!

The howling gale is now just windy. No rain yet. Out to lunch with an old friend today. We don't meet often so won't come up for air smile

Good morning from a dry, warm, grey and windy Colchester. Just looked out to check that the bin bags had not blown away in the night. They have usually been collected by now!
All the best to you and your Dad Mick.

Morning everyone
Forecast rain and wind today, but I shall make the most of it as my sister is bringing the dog back tomorrow so I will be out in the elements for a couple of hours each day - back to normal.

Good morning all. I hope your father is better soon, Mick.

It's blowing a gale in North Leicestershire too. I'm on the school run today and I've promised to take DGD1 to Macdonalds for tea so DD1 can do more unpacking.
