Great news whitewave. The doctors and hospitals are really good, no matter how much we like to complain about them. My son in law will not be happy if they are knocked off third place. He has been really worried about their performance recently. (I have football, so tease him rather remorselessly about it)

And they did! Happy days at your house and tears at ours!

whitewave Tue 26-Jan-16 08:17:50

What a lovely lot you all are! Even though I drive you mad with my politicsgrin.

Yes It is reaction to last week, but I hope by us recording how we feel it also helps other grans understand their feelings if anything like this happens to them.
ann they were watching Derby as if they won they would knock Brighton DHs and GSs team off third place. So they were hoping they would loose!grin

That's lovely, whitewave, thank you for sharing. Hope you had a good rest. Try to take it easy over the next few days!!

whitewave So pleased for both you and Mr W. These stents are brilliant things and have such a good effect so quickly. Make sure you both get plenty of rest. smile

That's lovely to hear whitewave I can only add to the advice already given - make sure you now get rest and re-charge those batteries flowers

whitewavesunshine That's good to hear, but now it's your turn to rest.

Sleep well Whitewave. It's good to hear your DH is doing so well.

Nelliemoser Mon 25-Jan-16 22:23:12

Whitewave Thats good to hear but Rosearered is right about you needing to take care of yourself after such a shock. We can often cope well in a crisis but then begin to feel really exhausted.

glassortwo Mon 25-Jan-16 21:40:10

white amazing the difference in a week, I can feel your pleasure at seeing your DH at home and enjoying the footie with your DGS. But you take care and try to recharge your batteries. flowers

Try not to dwell too much and go with the flow. Relax and enjoy normality. Normal is good.I hope it is Derby he is watching, that is my H's team.

roses is right, whitewave. Your body is telling you to rest and relax to get over the trying time you've had. Sleep tight tonight, I hope flowers

rosesarered Mon 25-Jan-16 21:25:09

With an emergency, we go into adrenalin mode, but later it can have an effect on you, tired/weepy etc.
put your feet up and try and relax, perhaps have some early nights.Your story had a happy ending but is bound to have affected you.??

whitewave Mon 25-Jan-16 21:03:25

Yes feel quite tearfulsmile. DH is coping and doing so well - I on the other hand am feeling totally knackeredgrin All perfectly normal I am sure.

morethan2 Mon 25-Jan-16 21:00:38

It's the small things that often makes us smile. Sounds like things are getting back to wonderfully normal. Enjoy the moment flowers

Indinana Mon 25-Jan-16 20:58:10

That put a big smile on my face. You must be feeling so happy smile.

After all the trauma of DH and heart last week, I have just tottered off to bed leaving DH watching football and chatting on line throughout the match to one of the grandsons. Wonderful!!!
