It's still dark in North Leicestershire but very cold and yesterday's snow hasn't hung around. I have photocopier training at lunch time and then a session in the library.

Dark, cold and pouring down here in Devon. Sitting with a fleece dressing gown over fleece pjs until the house warms up .
Got to wait in for a rescheduled delivery today, anytime up till 6pm. Just hope it arrives early.

Cold and dark after some overnight rain here in SE Hampshire.

Going to a coffee morning get together with WI chums this morning and our electrician is coming later to sort out the light which will not switch on. I want him to fit another double socket too. DH is on taxi duty to take DGD to her drama group at 5.30pm.

DH is home today so we are buying and fitting a new gate to our sideway. There will be swearing involved!

We've got the same sunrise! The stick on the roof to the right is our weather cock bottom on - pointing east, straight into the sunrise. I think we're in for another chilly day.

We've got a new gate to be fitted too Pittcity, it's been leaning against the wall for several months now! (At least it's avoided the swearing.)

Why did that load upside down? It started the right way up!

Nope, turning the iPad around has no effect! I wonder why it's done that.

It's because our neighbour removed a hedge and now our grotty old gate can be seen from the street. A kick up the proverbial!

When I posted, I forgot to say that it is DGS2 (Bertie the b****r!) birthday today - he's 4 and quite excited!!

Morning all. The very small trace of snow has gone from North Cheshire. It's getting brighter and we might see the sun sometime. Good luck with Bertie, kitty, if you have to attend his birthday party! I suggest ear plugs.

Good morning all. Dull, dull, dull here but at least the snow has gone. Hope Bertie enjoys his birthday, Kitty. I have foolishly offered to make GS's birthday cake and i think i may have bitten of more than i can chew, but we'll see. I have two weeks to come up with the goods!

No party anno, they are going to the ink-quarial - to see some sharks with big teeths! Good luck with the cake Greyduster! Luckily DD3 is our cake maker so I'm spared!
