One of life's winners

I had a spate of raffle wins - chocolates, posh body lotion etc - a couple of years ago but the luck seems to have deserted me recently. However, I was the winner of a Warners weekend in the early days of Gransnet, so no complaints there.

Actually, I did get lucky with the Gransnet competition just before Christmas to win a yule log and a children's book, so I shouldn't really complain. However, I also discovered two days ago that I was picked as a winner on here for another competition last June, but never knew anything about it. No email, no message on the "have you won anything" thread. It wasn't a big prize, but it would have been nice to have known about it in time to claim it

Because there are lots of people like me who couldn't win a raffle or lottery even if I was the only one buying the tickets.
