Morning Mick. Sounds blood test overload. Hope all is well. Morning All. Dark and damp in our corner of Somerset. Cold too. Hope Saturday is kind.

Good morning all. It's good to get all blood tests out if the way in one go, Mick.

Still dark but feeling colder here in North Leicestershire. We have the 2 eldest DGC for the weekend and are going to the pictures and pizza this afternoon.

Enjoy your Saturdays everyone! sunshine

Morning all.
Still dark and very still in N Kent, I think we had rain over night.

Morning All

At least they were non-fasting blood tests Mick. The fasting ones are dire! I hope they come back clear.

Our new cooker is in and working and the boiler seems ok after the man came back a second time. I remembered to go to art class - and pick up stuff from the printers - but then forgot my opticians appointment in the afternoon - when I'd known about it at lunchtime. Am I losing the plot? Should I be worried?!

Having a quiet day today!

Happy Saturday Everyone (it is Saturday isn't it!)

Good morning everyone
Guess what, it's raining heavily in Wiltshire ? after a cold but sunny day yesterday.
I intend to have a blitz on the housework today although there's little enthusiasm so far!
Have a lovely weekend everyone ?

Good morning from a rainy Cheshire. I thought the forecast said it would be cold so I turned the heating up and it's tropical here.

Mick, were you a fan of Hancock? Remember his blood donor sketch? 'That's very nearly an armful!' Here's hoping all come back negative.

Good morning everyone.
It's dry but dull after the overnight rain. Tynedale could do with a few sunny days! I have gone back to bed. Sleep eluded me for most of the night, then I had to go to work for 04.00. Lunch is easy (haggis, neeps and tatties), so I don't have to get up until fairly late morning.
Have a lovely day all. moonsunshinemoon

Good morning from a bright Colchester. Sunshine and showers forecast but not too cold.
No plans so playing this weekend by ear. Maybe watching some of the films recommended on favourite film thread.

Good morning all. There was rain against my kitchhen window when I went to make my cup of tea. It's still very dull. Apart from that I have not looked out yet.

I will put my porridge on while and go and get showered. Thank heaven for Microwaves.

Heavy heavy rain in the middle of the night here in East Cornwall, with two claps of thunder right overhead. I think it has stopped now.
Church photocopying this morning and pub folk night this evening. In between I want to get some typing done for a WI competition, and alter a pair of trousers. Perhaps I should switch off GN and get out of bed!

Morning all,
Only been up an hour and it's been raining/sunny/raining/sunny. At the moment it's on the 'raining' phase sad Feeling rather envious of DS and his OH who are in sunny Vietnam - we've been seeing photos on FB of palm-fringed beaches to die for envy.
Lazy day today, then babysitting for DD this evening so that she can have a rare night out with a couple of girlfriends.
Happy Saturday everyone.
