Off to Sainsbury's first thing as our cupboards (and fridge!) are looking very sad and empty! And then to the hospital to see if they really think mum is fit to go home!

Well, what's new? It's dark, cold and drizzly in the Tyne Valley today. Driving is hazardous with all the standing water at the sides of the road. DH brought me home as he is reluctant to let me drive our new car in the dark.

Morning all. Dry but dull here in Bedford. I'm having a Hive fitted this morning so waiting in for "enguneer".

Mid Essex is also pretty wet and dreary and I don't intend to go anywhere today. I had two hospital appointments on consecutive days so will have a bit of "me" time today especially as I have another hospital visit later this month to arrange for surgery in due course.

Good morning. Heavy rain woke me in the night, still raining so a wet soggy walk this morning.

Good morning all - stopped raining here in south yorkshire but the wind is bitter.

Good evening - morning to you folk - from an extremely hot day here in the south west of Western Australia. We had a high temp today of 37 degrees Celsius which is about 100 degrees F. we would love a bit of your rain...please!! Our sky is full of smoky clouds as there are really severe bushfires raging about 40 minutes drive from here in some of the farming areas. If you are prayers please pray for safety for all those helping to figt these fires. As we have prayed for all your folk so badly affected by the floods we have seen on TV lately.
