Morning Mick and everyone.
I'm surprised to be second poster.
It's still quiet dark but I can see it's damp though not raining at the moment.

Good morning from Colchester. Woke to hear a warning about thick fog in Essex, looked out and it was totally clear. It's a bit chilly but none of the predicted fog and frost.

Morning All. It's dry in our corner of Somerset. Cloudy with some light patches so daring to hope for a better day. Hope Wednesday is kind to you.

Good morning everyone.
It continues to rain in the Tyne Valley!!! I would love to see the sun.
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all,
Dry here in Devon and, dare I say it, we have patches of blue(ish) sky. Hoping the forecast on my met office app is right - cloudy with sunny intervals. Our baby granddaughter is coming to us this morning while her mummy is at the hairdressers smile
Enjoy your Wednesday everyone!

Good morning from a greyish North Leicestershire. Off to see mum again today - she was brighter but much more confused and very thirsty yesterday. And loads of desk work to do! sad

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

Weak sun in the South East. Chilly.

Good morning all, dull and overcast here today. I am having a leisurely lie in while DH walks the dog, for a change, this morning.

Good morning from a bright north essex trouble is it dont last rain on its way
Going to Framlingham today for a ride out and lunch
Our little comunity bus does little trips so that is really nice

Stansgran Wed 06-Jan-16 09:33:09

I too am having a semi lie in. Heard a dreadful smashing noise and thought a cupboard full of glass had smashed. No it was the recycling. Post Christmas and new year bottles being loaded into the van.

Good morning - cold, calm and misty here in N Cheshire, made mistier by the exhaust from my combi boiler drifting past my window.

Now good afternoon! Raining here north of Morpeth, in Northumberland, after raining all day every day for a week sad I'm about to venture out with my dog. Neither of us wants to go!

Bellanonna Wed 06-Jan-16 15:11:25

Lizzy I don't suppose you will see this if you are out with the dog, but wanted to say we had some lovely holidays "north of Morpeth", nameless west of Rothbury. A lovely part of the UK.

Bellanonna Wed 06-Jan-16 15:11:48

Namely. Not nameless

Hi Bellanonna, I'm glad you have good memories of Northumberland. I live quite near Rothbury. There's a great, dog friendly cafe next to the river there! I'm not a native of the north east but my late husband was. I've lived here the longest of the many places I've called home. It's a beautiful county.

Bellanonna Thu 07-Jan-16 23:31:27

Yes lizzy. Love your name btw. It is indeed a beautiful and interesting county. We stay at Tosson. Great views across the Coquet Valley and a lovely pub in nearby Thropton. I hope you go on enjoying your lovely corner of England for many more years.
