Bit dull here this morning and heavy rain is forecast for later. Ah well, a new year but nothing changes!
Having a lazy day after charging around the county yesterday trying to find a new dog bed for our DD's lab. Every pet shop we visited seemed to cater only for small and medium sized dogs . Eventually found a large one in Exeter.

Off to see mum in hospital this morning - so much for sitting down and relaxing for a while which was my plan after a hectic Christmas.

Good morning and Happy New Year from a frosty London. A very clear night , everyone else is slumbering but as usual I'm up and ready for the day. No plans apart from youngest granddaughter will be here for a couple of hours as Mum is working then I'm dropping her to her other Nan for the day.

Dry in North Norfolk too with a clear sky and the night clouds evaporating with a pink glow. A nice day in prospect.

DGS slept well - once I'd moved into the other bed in the kids room! Then his dog woke me up at half five demanding to go out and be fed while DGS slumbered on! Hopefully we'll tire them both out enough today to manage an undisturbed night tonight. Plans to visit the little steam railway in town.
