New use for knicker elastic!

I always like to put a hot iron over me gusset ( not when I'm wearing them!) For hygiene but it does make the elastic round the legs scratchy!!

my mum always safety pinned (Think nappy pins) her knickers with two pins to her roll on...she had a horror of the elastic going and was scarred as a child by her elderly grandmother stepping out of her drawers in the middle of the street and putting in her handbaggrin

When the elastic went on Mum's knickers, she popped into the local stationery shop and borrowed a stapler. Job done blush

My DH would sort you out with a watch strap....has little watch repair hobby going on in the shed. Reasonable rates!tchgrin

Here is an idea - my watch strap has broken and I am waiting for a new one to arrive, so I have improvised by threading through a circle of knicker elastic! I can just slip it over my wrist. I could be starting a new fashion trend!!
