Not mine - saw this on FB and it reminded me of this thread
T'was the week after Christmas and all through the house,
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The goodies I'd nibble, the prosecco I'd taste,
All the gatherings and parties had gone to my waist.
When I got on my scales, there arose such a number!
When I walked to the shops (less a walk more a lumber).
I'd remember the marvellous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared...
The wine and the puddings, the crackers and the cheese
and the way I'd never said, "No thank you, just please."
As I dressed myself in my old baggy shirt
and prepared once again to try and do up my skirt,
I said to myself (as no one else dare!)
"Go back to Weight Watchers you know there they care"
So away went the last of the sour cream dip,
I got rid of the fruit cake, every cracker & chip.
Every last bit of food that is bad it was banished
'Till all those additional pounds have vanished.
I'm back on plan and counting my points
Drinking more water, no more turkey & ham joints,
Staying to class (you really should try it)
Happy New Years to All & to All a Good Diet. ??????✨???
