Going to walk to Waitrose for some broccoli and that's me done.

Good Christmas Eve morn to you al. Its dark, windy and raining here in Melton Mowbray. No golf for me today - I did have good intentions but instead its house clean, put the presents round the tree and go to the pub for a lunchtime drink. Have a lovely day

The sun is peeping through in NW London. I have a Morrisons on line shop delivery coming later because I could not face the crowds and lack of parking. I do not intend to show my face outside the front door until at least Monday. I am still trying to work out what all of the fuss is about especially if one does not have small children. I am the original bah humbug. Enjoy your day folks, think of me doing zilch!

A bit grey and windy here, missing Gran Canaria where we were until late Saturday gone. We have only had our tree up for a day, hardly worth it! Last minute shop for 3 small forgotten items. Christmas mass and carols early evening with extended family then back to theirs for drinks. We are having our grandchildren tomorrow they usually do Christmas with the other side, so this is a first for us

Dark, wet and windy here in Edinburgh. Not much left to do. Just planning low key day of general pottering! TV this afternoon still feels naughty. Tea, fruit cake, cat on knee and prospect of lovely Christmas day ahead. Can't ask for more. Sorry, should have posted smug alert!

Morning everyone
Wet and miserable here in Devon. Have been up since 7.00 just generally pottering, putting off the big jobs. Well, not much really I guess, but I do have sausage rolls to make, and pigs in blankets to prepare for tomorrow. DD will be coming this afternoon. Finally finished DGD's Christmas Day dress yesterday and the matching dribble bib. Can't wait to see her in it!

The excitement, can hardly contain myself - HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you all from a bright but chilly south coast. Enjoy your days, don't get too stressed, the world will not come to an end if all the jobs don't get done, and if it does it really won't matter will it?

The weather in Tynedale is foul. Wet and windy. Today's list of things to do begins with baking, as I have done none. DH is off to pick up the goose, then, later in the morning he is going to collect our new car. Ooh the excitement!!! Then, after baking I have the house to vacuum and by are floors to wash, so a busy day ahead, and all on three hours sleep!!
