Thank you for the update. Good to hear things are looking up
DD3's children stayed over last night and were wonderful. Well, they always are of course and I'm not at all biased, but they are such happy, bright, well behaved children. DD3 and her partner are doing a great job of bringing them up in a loving atmosphere.
The Idiot is still being an Idiot but slightly less so (thanks to DD's new partner being unphased by the histrionics), is having the children (fairly) regularly (for now) but the children handle seeing him well.
So, I just thought I'd let all you lovely grans, who supported me through the horrors of DD's break up, know that things look good. And, for anyone going through a marriage breakup with one of their children, they and your DGC can come out at the other end happy.
And, my carpets have recovered!!
