Good Morning Saturday

Oh how miserable for you and your family, Lillie and specially sad for your DS.

Trying to work up some enthusiasm for a shopping trip. Need a couple of bibs and bobs, but as weather cold and rainy here in north east, may try to hang on until Monday. Don't suppose it will be much better then, though, so may just get on with it. (After another coffee, of course)

Nearly lunchtime and it is still wet and dank in Cheshire.

Sorry to read of the cancelled wedding Lillie, I hope it wasn't too last-minute.

I suppose I'd better get on with the dusting... sigh...

Lillie - what a difficult day for your family. Yu can console yourself with the fact that it would have been a dismal wet wedding - better the decision made now before long term unhappiness.

So dull and wet here - perfectly grim. But I love our view in all weathers - when it is like this, the clouds hang in the valleys and it is a fairy tale scene.

Early showers and now a glimpse of sunshine here in North Hampshire. Going to have an over-full house today with 2 DDs and 3 DGC staying. It will be bedlam!

Dull, damp and dark here in Stockport it was quite cold yesterday.
Food shop done yesterday and a visit to the "warfarin clinic" with a change of dosage which confuses DH so that will be the only topic of conversation for several afternoons now. He takes it at 4 o'clock on the dot and it rules the timetable.!! What fun as Miranda's mother would say.

I've just been woken up by the air ambulance landing in the field at the bottom of my garden ! Hope the patient is ok.
Weather is dry and dull, putting up the tree this afternoon.

We could see the Milky Way from outside out back door for a short time last night. Overclouded again now, but not raining so I aint complaining.

Overcast and cold in Tynedale. Gone back to bed. Had to work this morning as I couldn't leave just two of them to do the entire store. Still suffering with cold symptoms, only had about 1-2 hours sleep last night.

I bought a new mac in the pre Christmas sales and it is getting good use. Glad it's not padded though as we still have double figure temperatures here.

Not much on today apart from the normal walk to the village for flowers and to pay the papers. We need to gird our loins though as we have 2 DGC staying tonight!

Dank and dismal in London befitting our mood. DS was due to get married today, but fiancée recently called it all off. Hoping DD's children will breeze in later and lighten the mood.
