Fairly bright but windy here on the S Wales border. We have little DGD all day today and I will be taking her to the village school, play later.

Feeling gloomy as had dreadful repetitive dream that was sadder then you can imagine and involved my DGS - I have not shaken it off yet . Anyone else ever had this happen? It has never happened to me before.

Wind getting up and poor Lake District getting more rain.

Good morning from a very sunny South Yorkshire. Laundry on the go so hope it stays that way! Having a baking day today - one small step for mankind, one giant step towards Christmas!

Lovely sunny start to the day here in mid Essex.
Hair appointment later and some card writing and present wrapping. Cleaning team came yesterday for the fortnightly blitz on the house which means that I don't have to think about chores for a few days

Good morning from a sunny, chilly Colchester. Still not feeling 100% so taking it easy again today.

Came down to see a beautiful sky this morning - blue with pink fluffy clouds all backlit with the glow of the rising sun. We're promised 'sunny intervals' today in Devon, so here's hoping!
Stocked up on vegetables yesterday, so am planning on making some soup later, yum!

No sunshine in Tynedale. It's wet and windy here again, and much cooler. I have a dental appointment this morning, I am going in the carveven though it only takes about 15 minutes to walk. I'm not going to get wet if I don't have to.

Good morning from North Leicestershire where the sky is looking quite milky with a ringer of blue.

I'm still in bed with flu - day 4 - and I'm really fed up! I dread to think how bad I eod feel if I hadn't had the jab.

We're off to see DGD2 in her nativity play in an hour so I'd better rouse his Lordship who's still slumbering!

Good morning all
It's still too dark to judge the weather but no obvoious rain drops on the windows. According to my geeky weather machine sunrise is not due until 08:12hrs in Manchester.
For our Scottish members in Inverness it's half an hour later. Only twelve days until the shortest day then it will slowly start to improve.
