I would pay for a new kitchen with a large pantry for her too!

I've always fancied a trip on the Orient Express. I'm recording the programme about it on Channel 4 tonight.

We used to have a larder when we lived in a farmhouse but we did the stupid 1980s thing of ripping it out in favour of fitted cupboards.

Blimey how boring a list.

Assuming The family were sorted I would go private for some decent teeth, have a cook and chauffeur on call and buy every book I wanted when it is first published instead of waiting for the paperback or library copy.

I would buy a beautiful bungalow (no stairs, wonderful!!) overlooking the sea somewhere not too far away, and there would have to be a lovely house very close by that I could buy for my DD. With enough money over to pay for a cleaner and gardener for life, and to allow my daughter to stay home with her DD for as long as she wished with no pressure to return to work.

Lottery win.....see the children and grandchildren are set up.

Give wells to 50 villages in the developing world.

Give a substantial donation to the Ethiopiad fistula clinic.

Buy an amazing German motorhome. Travel the country.

Buy a nice house/bungalow with amazing views. Have a lady who cleans, another who irons and a little man to look after the garden (why did I say little man...a gnome????). Pay them over the odds because I'd feel guilty having someone else doing my work

Immediate retirement for DH and myself. A holiday somewhere nice for my mum and dad. Somewhere warm, not too far away and civilized where she can have her 3 times weekly dialysis.

I've always thought that (as well as getting everything I wanted!) I would have a large place built for homeless people to sleep in after they'd had a compulsory shower. Then give them all a large breakfast and some used clothes/shoes.

That's a nice idea wot so I hope that you do come in for a major windfall.

New teeth implants, a facelift and a little holiday house in Florida, private school for Grandaughters, bigger house for them, another dog, new bathroom - I could go on .... !

A house with a big enough lounge for us to have all our immediate family here at once (ten of us in total). Can only squeeze 8 in there now no matter how hard we try

Immediate retirement, a cleaner, a gardener, houses for DC. Then travel in comfort to places I want to go. Dental implants. And clean ironed bedding every night.........

Travel doesn't get me excited - you're away for a couple of weeks and then you come back and what do you have to show for it? It's the other 50 weeks of the year I'd like to spend any extra money on, making day-to-day life more pleasant.

So I'd rather spend it on a nice home and would be extravagant in making it comfortable and pleasant to live in, easy to clean, easy to get around, even in old age, and attractive from the outside.

I agree with the bedlinen and would also get in professionals to work out the best way to light the house, and also to fit a sound system in the best position with the best quality. If there was any money left over, I might treat myself to a change of decor more often, just because I can!

And I'd chuck out all the pot plants we have now, which are mainly single tall twiggy twigs with a single sad leaf on the top, and get some really bushy green plants which make it look more lush. (Hubbie is in charge of these and he holds on to them, come what may, with no regard for what they look like).

Move near my Mum.

Go back to Sorrento.

Prepare a bucket list and work through it.

I always said if I won megabucks on the lottery that I would buy a house with a huge piece of land, build kennels and take in stray dogs. I'd pay a couple of people to take care of the dogs needs and keep an eye on them. The dogs would be able to run free and I would just enjoy all the play time and cuddles!

I'd love to have a cleaner and gardener. I'd also like to give my adult children enough so that they didn't have to work so damn hard. Our daughter and hubby work shifts. She goes out at night as he comes home. What a life. I would love to buy a holiday home somewhere in Ireland. At the moment I'm scared of getting on an aeroplane, so abroad is out for me.

OK, today I'd skip the personal make-over and have a personal assistant instead. It would be worth it to me to have someone to buy my gifts for giving, organise my tree and decorations and to buy all the food and drink and, if there was a little bit left over in the account, to actually cook everything through the holiday!

I hate Christmas. I've just been into our local centre and it's already too busy for me and after an hour I was ready to scream... bah humbug!!!

Oh what thoughts of squillions to squander. Seeing that we never buy a lottery ticket I wonder where my monies would come from. I would like my knees done and dusted, definitely a cook and housekeeper and ironer ? I would love a weekend house by the sea, with taxi transport there and back and the sun always shining. My children could do with a helping hand and my grandchildren with a pot big enough to provide them with their own houses, and My niece to have her extension finished. If I could summon up the will power to lose weight, I could have a new wardrobe full of stylish, but comfortable clothes. Oh, and my DH, would overnight sprout the beautiful head of auburn curls he once sported. That's me sorted, for now.

Frst of all, a nice house, nothing too large or flashy.
Then, someone to come in each day and keep it clean, and someone else to do the washing an ironing.
Put simply, I`d be a lazy so and so!

New teeth, build a third bedroom,(aka my sewing room!) Give some to dcs possibly get another dog as we lost our lovely Abby in May, and holiday care is now sooo expensive for a Great Dane, so we are still making our minds up on that. Give to charity and buy life membership of RHS and NT.

I'd give enough to the DC to make them secure, pay off their mortgages and car loans and afford good holidays. Not enough to let them give up work altogether though - as my DM used to say, the devil makes work for idle hands to do... A savings fund for each of the DGS to give them a good start.

For us, first class travel all the way from now on wherever we go - a chauffeur-driven limo on call, no riff-raff on the train, and no more seats slamming back into you 10 minutes into a 13 hour flight. Bliss!

I was once told by a fortune-teller that I would be very, very wealthy very, very late in my life. This could of course mean when I'm old. Or it could mean that when I do win the lotto, I'd better make the most of it because my days will be numbered. Perhaps the shock will finish me off.

I find this a hard excercise really, hhmmmn,I don't want to move house, but with mega money in the bank Mr Roses would want to, so a problem right off! Pay off DC's mortgages, and allow them to upgrade to better houses , buy them a new car each ( ours is fine) start a special fund for DGC who through no fault of their own all have problems, and may never be able to have a job.Do something nice for the village, and the church always has a roof problem. Give money to favourite charities.Buy some rather nice clothes
And a holiday home, somewhere in England.

I could manage a million, or even two, but much more and I would start to panic .....

I would move out of my house for six weeks or so, stay in a nice hotel, and get it all renovated whilst I was away. I could leave DH in charge (but not of the colour scheme!).
