Our two nine year old gc (not twins, cousins) are on restricted screen time, so they have had to use their imaginations to fill their time. (Great!!) They decided to make a shop in the playroom-so far, so good. When we were called through to go shopping they not only had a shop, but also loyalty cards, discount vouchers and a complaints department! (Good discounts....50% if you spent over £100!) No cash either, they would only accept card payments. How times have changed.

Brilliant! Different times indeed grin

Reminds me of my DGD when we gave her an envelope on her fourth birthday and she asked, "Is it cash?" shock None of us had any idea where she got that from!

How great that they were using their imaginations. I used to love playing shops and post offices.

Kept them occupied for best part of the afternoon!

Get them to play at manning a call centre and you could keep them occupied for even longer grin

Hahaha! We could work that into our next 'can we do a play Nanna' session!
