Alea, thank you for posting the truth about elves and baby reindeer. I do hope it doesn't upset people too much to know this, as well as having the correct impact on Cari and Co at GHQ. It is just wrong to do holly/Christmas Trees or music (especially that dreadful I wish it could be Christmas every day thing) before Advent.

Hilarious - I laughed so much. My "eccentric "( miserly??) brother darns his worn out underpants, and only puts the hot water on once a day when he washes up a day's dishes and has a shower . As you can imagine he is single ..

We all wore onesie's for a Christmas day evening family get together OH bought himself an elf onesie complete with jingly bells on, we also had a batman, rabbit, zebra, and Kermit we had a fab evening.

I also love my onesi, (tiger design). It is so much warmer than a dressing gown. It takes a bit more getting into and visits to the loo are slower but I wear it most days and hope to do so for many years to come.

Dear best friend lives with his cousin, he is more than a little eccentric, on Sunday he phoned my friend to say he had bought 125 kilos of used stamps,,, silence from friend, cousin, " we can sort through them and fine the ones which have not been franked and re-use them for Christmas cards".

When I was younger, I informed my sister that I intended to be eccentric when I grew old. She said, 'But you're eccentric already'. I can't think what she meant. I am now inspired to go shopping for a suitable (unsuitable?) onesie.

Not long before my 92 year old father died, I was at his house when he decided he would 'make a cup of tea'. He disappeared into the kitchen and emerged a few minutes later stark naked, carrying his catheter, plus urine bag and stand! I just looked at him and said 'oh! I thought you were making tea!'

A onesie will stop any draughts getting into gaps! Very sensible, better than an old dressing gown!
