I can feel like that about clearing up after my own dog. Maybe it is not my favourite task, but scooping a poop on a walk with Grace, absolutely does not bother me, whereas washing /scraping my shoes after treading in another doggy doo can make me retch hold my breath.

Maybe you were in the wrong job!! grin

I never had a problem changing my own babies, but if I smelt somebody else's I used to retch. As I was a childminder this happened often!

Not one retch for me - it's only poo; and what's a bit of poo between friends! grin

Hilarious. As you say, Nina, just a bit of fun. Sent to DDs. The one who replied said she laughed out loud. Still has an 18 month old, so it resonated with her.

I've experienced all that Grandma2213 None of it made me retch. You've either got a weak stomach or you haven't. There's nothing you can do about it.
I did wonder why he recorded it but, it's just a laugh and not meant to analyzed. The same as a lot of things posted on FB

Come on - surely we've all been there especially first thing in the morning when the nappy is sodden as well! When changing my younger siblings nappies my mother said I would not smell my own babies' poo. SHE LIED!!

Then there's when it's up their backs into their vests, down the legs of the babygro and they are kicking and wriggling, not to mention when they are older and on solids.

I have also retched through 5 DGC especially the two 3 year olds who frequently did it in their knickers and then sat in it!!

Some men make a if fuss to get out of the chore.......oh darling....let me d o it for you if it makes you queasy!!!!!!!!! Not.

Luckygirl Mon 09-Nov-15 17:07:56

But his retching was productive at one point merlot!

I think he's a good actor. hmm

kittylester Mon 09-Nov-15 16:59:49

I think it was maybe one of those new fangled babycam things!!

Luckygirl Mon 09-Nov-15 14:59:35

I am at a loss to know why he was filming it. Did he want to prove to his wife that he had done it? - and demonstrate why he did not want to do it again?!

merlotgran Mon 09-Nov-15 14:49:06

I agree with Luckygirl

He can thank his lucky stars it's not an elderly relative grin

hildajenniJ Mon 09-Nov-15 14:46:09

It's only poo. Where's he been all his life? As the say "man up". That being said, my DH could never handle the dirty nappies!

ninathenana Mon 09-Nov-15 14:35:36

Tough guy.........not !
Did you read the comments?

grin

kittylester Mon 09-Nov-15 14:18:45

Or the baby had kicked and then the poo gone everywhere. I laughed so much that DH came out of his study to see if I was ok!

Charleygirl Mon 09-Nov-15 14:14:19

The baby girl was gorgeous. What would he have done if it had been a boy and he had wee'd in his face?

Luckygirl Mon 09-Nov-15 14:03:41

What a wimp! - does he not s**t!?

MiniMouse Mon 09-Nov-15 11:49:42

I love the way the baby just lies there completely oblivious to Daddy's retching!

Greyduster Mon 09-Nov-15 11:48:11

gringrin

shysal Mon 09-Nov-15 11:43:11

I came home to just the same scenario the first time I left our first born with my now ex-DH! Hilarious!
