Wet and windy here too. Really horrible. Still the rain wasn't supposed to arrive here until after lunch when I helping replant the flower tubs in the town square, and now the forecast says it should have stopped by then. Fingers crossed. It seems a shame to take down the geraniums when they're still doing so well, but it's three weeks later than last year and we need to get the wallflowers in.

Very wet in north essex this morning but so mild
well I didn't do my ironing yesterday and I am going out today and tomorrow.(hide it)??

Don't remember ever going to a firework display, taking my coat off and having a cold drink to cool down! I did last night.

My DGD is 17 today and she has overcome a lot of obstacles to become a lovely and very caring girl. We are so proud of her.

Hi all, wet, windy and grey here in Berks, and the TV aerial is grating away against the wind. Thought Saturday was supposed to be the better of the weekend days, still I suppose all those with tickets to the firework display tonight will have wellies at the ready. Good luck! We can see the display from our windows in comfort, if we open the curtains.

Yes, another wet and windy check in here, from Devon. Don't think DH will be playing his usual round of golf this morning!
DD is going stir crazy with cabin fever, as her dog simply will not do wet walkies - she even resists going in the back garden until she's desperate .
So, another day of knitting, sewing, cooking, whatever takes my fancy, cos I'm not going out in this!
