I don't dance around but anything by T-Rex gets the old air guitar going.

Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues - OH and are "sent" by this. We danced to it live in the student union many moons ago.

My DDs and their spouses are quite into the lovely 60s music. One SIL has all of Bob Dylan. We were so lucky to have such ground-breaking and innovative music as the backdrop to our youth.

I am reminded of the time we went to B & Q on a Wednesday (over 60s discount day) and all the music was from the 1960s. I asked the girl on the checkout if it was deliberate and she hadn't a clue what I was talking about.

Mr N and I seem to be rather odd as we cannot sit with music around us without tapping our feet or in some other way reacting. We have looked around at others and noticed that no one else is doing the same. I don't even think I am that musical.

I go through phases... at the moment it's 80's electro-pop, - Erasure, Pet Shops Boys etc, which make me dance around the kitchen.

My all time favourite that makes me want to dance is Happy just to dance with you by The Beatles with lovely George on vocals. Also things like I just wanna dance the night away with senoritas who can sway or Mambo Number 5.

And not just dancing in the kitchen, I can dance my way round the whole house!Just remembered a few days ago the radio played Summer In The City and I did a good bit of excercise to that, I can tell you.

Oh, too many to mention, but anything by Staus Quo, Abba,Dire Straits,Elton John ( you can see there is a bit of a retro theme going here.)

Anything by Creedence Clearwater Revival e.g. "I see a bad moon rising ..." or "Proud Mary" - when I hear "Looking for a job in the city ..." my dishcloth goes over my shoulder and I boogie.
