It's raining! Tynedale is rather wet today. Early this afternoon I am taking my sisters to the care home with a donation and a gift for the staff who looked after Dad so well. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've woken up to a miserable rainy day here in Devon. Supposed to be meeting up in town with ex work colleagues for lunch, but not sure I'll feel like going out in this horrible weather. From earlier comments it sounds as though it's everywhere today.

Hello from a wet and grey Herts. We are going up the A1M this morning to visit two of our bigger DGC aged 12 and 15, and to see their new, very naughty ginger kitten, Weasley.

Morning all I think it's grey and miserable in Bristol...well it was when I made a cup of tea earlier . Can't check to see if it's changed because cat has commandered my lap .

Good morning everyone. A dreary day here in South Yorkshire, and to top it all I have the cold to end all colds, which hit me like a brick last night. Hopefully, it will not last long!

It is a bit damp here - but worst of all windy - our beautiful view of autumn colours is in danger of being blown away!
