Anyone want to go to hear this with me at Queen's Hall in Edinburgh on 20 December?

Spect we'd need to buy tickets pronto.

Just been speaking to the chauffeur again and he'd be happy to take 2-3 folks to the station and then come back for us. We could have a wee drink perhaps while we're waiting for him. Does this sound feasible?

Elizabeth1 Mon 26-Oct-15 10:26:43

Elegran my DH will be the chauffeur and he will get a small reward for driving us home wine

Marmight sent me a message. She's away just now and isn't able to get GN where she is. She asked me to tell you that she would love to join us, but she'll be away at that time.

Another excuse (as if we needed one) to have some fun another time!

I'm about to do the ticket order for five of us. There is a small 'concession' for senior citizens. Do I take it you all qualify for that?

Centre and rear stalls £20.

Elegran Mon 26-Oct-15 19:31:58

Do you want the money now or on the night ? And are we going to meet early for a quick bite to eat?

Marelli Mon 26-Oct-15 19:38:29

Same here, bags - would you like me to send you a cheque or whatever?

Elizabeth1 Mon 26-Oct-15 19:49:41

Looking forward to seeing you all again. bags you can pm me your bank details and I'll transfer £20 into your account if you like. smile

thatbags Mon 26-Oct-15 20:02:13

Done. Have pm-ed details smile

Are we meeting up for some nosh beforehand?

elizabeth1, that's very kind of your DH. I'd love to take him up on the offer of a lift to the station afterwards.

Elegran Mon 26-Oct-15 20:52:23

Send me details too. I don't know the noshing places in that area about that time, but it is student-land so there will be plenty. DS lives in that direction so I can ask him, if you like.

Rigatoni's is on Clerk Street, though I don't know how close to the Queen's Hall. We ate there after watching DD diving and it was very good. They fitted us in before a booking. Very efficient and the food excellent.

thatbags Mon 26-Oct-15 21:28:42

It's not a big place so we would have to book. If the others agree, could you maybe do that, please, elegran?

thatbags Mon 26-Oct-15 21:30:02

Just googled: Rigstoni's is one minute's walkaway from Queen's Hall grin

thatbags Mon 26-Oct-15 21:30:32

Rig*a*toni's

Marelli Mon 26-Oct-15 21:46:00

Very happy with that, bags. smile

Elegran Mon 26-Oct-15 22:23:19

Yes, I'll do that tomorrow morning. Any opinions on what time we should book for? It won't be a long blethery meal like some if we've to scoot alomng to the Queens Hall for 7 (unless we start eating early)

Elizabeth1 Tue 27-Oct-15 05:32:19

5.15 ish perhaps - eating at 5.30 - finish meal around 6.15 ish wine

Elegran Wed 28-Oct-15 00:09:57

That is booked.

Marelli Wed 28-Oct-15 06:13:29

Thanks for doing that, Elegran. smile

thatbags Wed 28-Oct-15 06:58:53

Excellent. Thanks, elegran.

Just had a wee panic about the tickets which haven't arrived yet! Phoned the box office and they said they were posted on 27 Oct!! They are going to print some more and post them today.

Eek.

Marelli Fri 13-Nov-15 13:04:52

Well, if someone's sitting in oor seats when we get there, bags, they'll be getting the 'bum's rush'! wink grin

Katek Fri 13-Nov-15 13:09:15

Wish I could have come but it's a loooong way plus hotel makes it bit pricey. I'll probably still be prostrate after doing panto for a week anyway!! Hope you all have lovely evening. smile
