idly wondering what everyone else is eating. We are spag bol (from the freezer) and salad and then an apple crumble I found - at least I think it's an apple crumble...forgot to label it and have been caught out before

Roast beef, roasties in goose fat, yorkshires (frozen), mixed veg (frozen) and a glass of home made Rioja. Don't usually have dessert but there is home made rhubarb crumble (home grown rhubarb) in the freezer if we fancy something.

Meatballs -or in my case Quorn balls- in a tomato sauce served with tagliatelle, followed by Galia melon with dusting of cinnamon.

HappyNan1 Sun 18-Oct-15 14:36:21

Roast lamb, new potatoes, peas, green beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, home made yorkshires, then sticky toffee pudding.

Fingers crossed beef casserole for us - fingers crossed because I've thrown this and that in and am hoping it all tastes yummy! And, using Hugh F-W's advice, I'm cooking double to use in the week. That's if my OH doesn't decide he fancies seconds or thirds...

Roast shoulder of WELSH not rubbish Italian lamb for us today with home grown potatoes, aubergine & peppers and bought sweet potato! We sometimes get Welsh lamb on offer at the local supermarket and it is such a treat that we buy several joints ( as does a Welsh friend of ours) and freeze it!! Washed down with plenty of home made wine!

Phoenix I'm coming to yours

Anne58 Sun 18-Oct-15 14:10:18

Roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding (not home made blush ) carrots, mashed swede and lightly creamed cabbage.

No pudding, but no doubt I'll get the urge to eat one of the lidl cornetto type things at some point during Downtown!

Gagagran Sun 18-Oct-15 13:34:23

We've just had slow cooked lamb shanks, roasties and leeks followed by plum crumble tart for DH and a coffee corner yoghurt for me.

tanith Sun 18-Oct-15 13:33:50

Tonight it will be slow cooked gammon, roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli in cheese sauce. No pudding, we will be full with that.

thatbags Sun 18-Oct-15 13:19:38

Right now I'm having a crunchy peanut butter and raspeberry jam butty and a mug of tea.

thatbags Sun 18-Oct-15 13:12:05

Macaroni cheese with second crop wild chanterelle mushrooms.

Last night we had home-made oven chips cooked in goose fat, bacon, fried egg, asparagus.

sunseeker Sun 18-Oct-15 13:01:56

Had bacon, egg, hash browns and toast for breakfast so won't eat now until around 6.30 this evening when it will be roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli followed by fruit yoghurt for dessert and my weekly glass of wine! Sunday is not a day for diets!

whitewave Sun 18-Oct-15 12:51:34

Roast pork with roasted onions and potatoes carrots and sprouts then rice pudding

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 18-Oct-15 12:50:56

Roast dinner at the pub! Really hungry after yesterday's starvation diet. hmm

Teetime Sun 18-Oct-15 12:22:49

We are having a chicken cushion (2 breast stuffed with pork and bound into a cushion) that I bought at the Hollies Farm shop in Tarpoley Cheshire last weekend when staying with my daughter. We are a bit crook this weekend so its lots of green veg and I'm cheating with a few Aunt Bessie's roasties, plums from the freezer with a quick flapjack crumble on top and ice cream. Oh and an inadvisable amount of alcohol.

kittylester Sun 18-Oct-15 11:51:28

Creamy chicken casserole - an old favourite and dead easy to do - as we have a houseful of family to feed. With roast potatoes, honey roasted carrots and tenderstem broccoli!

ninathenana Sun 18-Oct-15 11:40:46

My DH won't eat fish fingers. Apparently they're "children's food" smile

Today it's Sunday roast, which will be pork with fresh carrots and roasties. I don't do Yorkshire pud, too fattening! We don't have dessert.

And it`s not dinner, it`s tea.

numberplease Sat 17-Oct-15 23:22:22

Fish fingers, chips, tinned tomatoes and frozen green beans. We are creatures of habit, we`ve been having fish fingers and chips on a Saturday ever since we married in 1963.

Indinana Sat 17-Oct-15 23:18:44

DH had a takeaway curry but I have recently added curry to my list of 'Foods My Bloody Useless Inside Can't Cope With', so I instead had chicken and bacon with pasta and some garlic bread. And jolly tasty it was too smile

Katek Sat 17-Oct-15 22:50:04

Cheese and biscuits-got some nice Wensleydale with ginger and mango today. Had lunch out so don't didn't really feel like much this evening.

grannyqueenie Sat 17-Oct-15 21:35:04

Steak ( the only thing my OH can cook!), salad and left over sauteed potatoes. Chocolate brownie and coffee for pud. Oh and the 1st glass of wine for over a week! grin

Charleygirl Sat 17-Oct-15 21:22:31

Lamb chop, carrots, sweetcorn, beans, broccoli, celery and mushrooms. I need the vitamin C to get rid of my cold. I did not have the energy to do anything with potatoes.

kittylester Sat 17-Oct-15 20:59:26

Griddled rib eye steak, real chips, roasted cherry tomatoes and battered onion rings. We have, sinced we had children, had a 'special' meal on Friday evenings. This week, because of football, Friday became Saturday!
