If you were lost in a supermarket, where would you be found?

DH once said that if he lost me in a supermarket he would look for the aisle containing the air freshener's and I would be there. I laughed and told him not to be silly. Yesterday I was in Asda with DD getting a few bits and we became separated. After a while she found me and said "I knew exactly where you would be......." And there I was smelling all the various sprays, candles, reeds, plug-ins etc. hmm

I'd be in the 'homewares'.bit as I love pans, plates, casserole dishes - sad really! grin

Hmm, probably digging around in the "reduced short dated shelves" for a bargain.

Next to the cream cakes.
Luckily the place where the cream cakes are in the supermarket I most visit, are fairly easily avoided.

If by any chance I was not "sniffing" the air-fresheners I too would be in the wine aisle Teetime ........ just looking you understand. blush

I'd be with Nelliemoser fighting for sharing the reduced bargains grin

Guess! wine grin

Actually I'd more than likely be in the magazine section browsing through all the expensive, glossy home and leisure magazines that I never buy.

gillybob Wed 14-Oct-15 10:27:09

I love those magazines merlot all those perfect homes and luxurious kitchens. just like mine Actually (change of subject alert) I do laugh when I read some of the articles.

Cost of house in 2005 £475,000
Cost of refurbishment £120,000

Now worth £2.5 million grin

I had to really think about this.
I buy those glossy home magazines, they are my treat to myself as I don't buy the wine on a regular basis. I'd probably be looking at toys or clothes for DGSx2.
I'd go straight to the books to find DH.

harrigran Wed 14-Oct-15 11:00:00

DH always goes to the clothing department when he is looking for me, I very rarely buy anything but I like to look.

KatyK Wed 14-Oct-15 11:02:22

The wine aisle for me too. wine DH and I are always losing each other in supermarkets. Drives me mad.

Galen Wed 14-Oct-15 11:04:09

The deli and foreign food one for me.

grandMattie Wed 14-Oct-15 11:35:27

Never thought of that. Who loses whom? Never have a chance to get lost as I'm usually haring round finding stuff, DH moseys around getting "lost" and me frantically looking for him [old childhood story! - hate losing people] usually but not always finding him in the wine department.

Maggiemaybe Wed 14-Oct-15 11:46:31

Clothes aisle for me. I just have to keep motoring if I lose DH, because he simply marches briskly up and down the aisles, looking for me by staring straight ahead. I call this his Cap'n Mainwaring mode.

tanith Wed 14-Oct-15 11:52:16

Among the clothing for sure I do like to check out whats new in...

thatbags Wed 14-Oct-15 11:53:23

At one time it would have been among the wines (I'd be studying the descriptions as well as the prices before making my choice) but I can't drink wine now so it would more likely be the shampoo aisle, looking for perfume-free shampoo, which is not easy to find.

LyndaW Wed 14-Oct-15 11:55:10

The cheese aisle for me! Always too many to choose from... I could stand there for days.
Or the Euphorium bakery bit in our Tescos. They do samples ... grin

Katek Wed 14-Oct-15 12:06:38

I have been known to phone DH in order to locate him. He's very elusive

Stansgran Wed 14-Oct-15 13:15:01

DH says I beam up when in the supermarket . I love the housewares in supermarkets. I lead a very sad life and there's no emoticon suitable.

Alea Wed 14-Oct-15 13:18:06

I'd be in the cafe enjoying my free coffee and reading the Daily Mail shock latest Booker prize winner /an improving treatise/War and Peace hmm
