Suggested by jings of jangly fame. If you want to take part, post your age and what region of the country (or which country!) you live in.

I'm still 59 until next month and I live in Argyll, Scotland.

Nankate - I click on browse here (see below), then search through my computer (details of which come up onscreen when you click browse) and double click on the photo I want to add. I always resize the picture beforehand so that it is about 1MB and drag it to the desktop so it is easy to find when you are browsing.

Clear as mud I expect! smile

What a fabulous lot of GNs, everyone looks so friendly with nice kind eyes. It's great to put faces to people even if they aren't how we thought they'd be.

Forgot to say that he photo was taken 2 weeks ago at DGS christening near Manchester. I'm holding latest DGS he's 4 weeks old tomorrow!

Greyduster Sun 11-Oct-15 10:35:44

Ok, here's me hitting the bottle again. Just come back from a walk.

I'm just 67. I have 2 children and 2 step children and 6 grandchildren. I live in Italy with my 2nd DH (I was widowed 20 years ago). I was born in Warwickshire and lived near Manchester before moving here.

Not a good choice but I got stuck on this photo somehow, can't get rid of it.
We don't have the tractor now, moved to a smaller place.

whitewave Sun 11-Oct-15 10:19:19

Oh yes!! I have actually never taken a photo with it so must give it a go when DH gets back! Must decide how best to show me looking thingrin

Jane10 Sun 11-Oct-15 10:08:18

Indinana that was me looking scary! Must try harder.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 11-Oct-15 10:01:18

whitewave It's really easy from my tablet. (Mini iPad.) Because you can take the pic and then find it easily. I find it harder from my desktop.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 11-Oct-15 09:57:44

kitty grin you'd better watch out then. wink

Indinana Sun 11-Oct-15 09:46:19

Jane10 you look lovely! I always imagined you tall and willowy with short straight dark hair, rather severe and scary. You don't look scary at all though [phew emoticon]

kittylester Sun 11-Oct-15 09:39:56

Lots of lovely photos but I think Lucky and Merlot have posted the wrong photos! And, jings, I know now why I find you slightly scary - you look just like my mother in law!

I'm 63. But haven't come to terms with being 60 yet to be honest.

I was born in Leeds and moved to Otley when I was two.

Lived in Burley in Wharfedale for 10 years Had a butchers shop with the ex husband

Moved to Hertfordshire, married for the second time, then Essex (for a year only) and then up to Cambridgeshire.

Have 2 sons in their 40's, two stepdaughters and one granddaughter and 4 grandsons, soon to be 6 as stepdaughter is expecting twins. At Christmas!

Husband is in a nursing home.

Love GN but now I've retired I never seem to have any time to get on much :-(

Hope that wasn't too long and boring.

Jane10 Sun 11-Oct-15 08:52:42

Well I'm 60. Retired last year. 2 children and 2 grandsons (aka lights of my life)
Will have a go at posting my only photo of me. I usually try not to look like an amiable idiot but failed that time.

Make sure you have a file in your computer/laptop/tablet with a photo in in you wish to post

Click on 'choose file'

Choose the option that says 'photo library' or words to that effect

Go to photo library and locate the picture you wish to post and select it.

Bingo! It ought to work.

NanKate Sun 11-Oct-15 07:30:36

Instructions please from any Techy Gran on how to post a photo - thanks.

whitewave Sun 11-Oct-15 07:24:34

jing you look like my aunt Flo. She was a feisty character as well!

I can't post a photo with my little tablet can I?

POGS Sun 11-Oct-15 00:15:26

Sorry I picked this thread up late confused

I am married , 63 and live on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border.

However I was born in Somerset and will always be a Somerset girl at heart. (If you know Glastonbury Tor I made the pathway when I piddled at the top and it ran all the way to the bottom , least that's what my dad told me and I believed him as a kid). A late starter obviously grin

I have one daughter aged 38 and a beautiful GD aged 9. My hubby is a saint and puts up with a lot from the 3 women in his life, poor old soul.

Like many of us I have mobility issues (osteoporosis/arthritis ) but I love gardening, it takes me ages but I get there in the end and that's all that matters.

I have genuinely enjoyed reading your posts, thank you.

Lona Sat 10-Oct-15 23:12:25

I'm so grateful janer grin You obviously understand what a sensitive flower I am!

Ana It's no good, you'll always be a blonde to me! smile

merlotgran Sat 10-Oct-15 23:11:56

janerowena Sat 10-Oct-15 23:08:00

''Yep! That's just how I imagined merlot to be''

No jings - in my mind she has a permanent glass of red in her hand.

I demand a new correct photo!

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 10-Oct-15 22:51:01
