It is very foggy in Tynedale. We are promised a fine day, once the fog clears. I have gone back to bed as my 3 o'clock getting up time was a real struggle today.

DGD 's 7th birthday party this afternoon. 30 children , in a village hall, being entertained by creepy crawlies and scary and dangerous animals. Think I'll stay in the kitchen!

Good morning from misty Colchester. It's bright though so it will burn off. The temperature is dropping slowly but as the wind has dropped it feels wsrmer.

Good morning, I am late rising this morning, thought it was 7.30 and it was 8.15! Still feeling very low after the cold which seems to be clearing up but has left me with cystitis - poor old soul I am. It looks like we are due another lovely day, and this will apparently be the last for a few days, so I am pleased to be able to have a fine day for the washing. Enjoy your days.

Morning all. Dry but overcast in Cornwall. Today I'm at a Christmas craft day at a friend's house. About a dozen of us will make something Christmassy, (we don't know what until we get there), everything is supplied as is food and drink all day. We pay £15 each and proceeds go to a local charity. This is the third year and it is lots of fun.

Overcast here in N. Bucks this morning, hope it will brighten up.

Got DDs dogs for the day and a few jobs to do. DH is replacing a radiator for DD2so will be out. MIL coming to dinner later.

Good morning all! Just having a quiet break from gardening.

I had a lovely start to my day; 25 months old DGS FaceTimed me at 7.30, all on his own !
DS was 'making toast' apparently and DDIL had 'gone on train' (University Open Day).
I honestly didn't understand 80% of the 'conversation' but it was delightful; DS came on after a few minutes and said he wondered who he was chatting to- this was the first time DGS had done this, I'm sure it will be happening again!
