I've been awake since 5 am when I woke up in a panic because we hadn't put the recycling bins down! . Luckily it is really foggy so no-one spotted me in my slippers, dressing gown and fabulous bed hair!

Another one here awake but not up with the lark. Still chilly here in Stockport but hope for yesterday's weather which was lovely again. I went out with a friend and we sat in the Garden Centre cafe garden for an hour and it was like midsummer.

Good morning all, and we have another promise-looking start. I have a disgusting cold and feel absolutely dreadful. Have got up and out of bed as I have been keeping the other half awake nearly all night with this awful cough - feeling really sorry for myself, nice cup of tea waits. Enjoy your days.

Dentist in an hours time for a check up and then off to art class this morning, which I hope goes better than last week.

printmiss have you tried the herbal Pastilles Broncostop - thyme based. Fabulous for stopping nasty coughs.

Lovely sunny start, but rather cold. Car said 2°c, brr., must find my gloves. DH has Doctors appointment this morning to decide the treatment for his hypertension, and find out the results of blood tests. He wants to go out somewhere this afternoon, but where? PRINTMISS my DH also has a persistent cough, Dr. said it is viral so no treatment offered, but he is fed up of it.

Morning everyone from sunny Devon
I was just thinking that this beautiful sunny weather has been going on for some time now and I made the mistake of looking at the Met Office app on my phone to see how much longer it's forecast. Hmm, shouldn't have done that - looks as if by Sunday it'll be cloudy and overcast, with thunder on Monday .
But I'm going to enjoy today, with a trip into town to meet friends for lunch, followed (if my feet allow) by a bit of shopping

Good morning all from a newby - only joined this site yesterday, and how cheerful you all are. It makes one glad to be alive. Sunny but very fresh here in East Kent this morning, back from walking the hounds, now stuck in front of PC for some work.
Pub lunch with OH planned for later today, gets me out of the house.

Just got back from a three night stay in Bruges. Lovely weather, good food and a very beautiful small city so why do I feel so tired and low???
It's a beautiful morning, DH has gone off to do the shopping on his own and I've got the first load of washing on, but I feel awful. Not my usual approach to life - just had a thought, I had my annual flu jab just before we left. Could that be the reason? I hope so!
