5ft 10ish and just the right weight for his height - plays golf 3 times a week where a lot of walking is involved - allegedly!
White hair, my gd frequently asks him, particularly when bending down to tie her laces, whether he knows that his head has grown through his hair and come out the other side it's kind way of saying bald on top!
Always brings me a cup of coffee in the morning
He always washes up after I cook
His signature dish is scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, very very good, but that's it, apart from toast!
Has been very good in not turning down some of my greatest desired travel destinations, even though they weren't his, and without fail after 48 hours after we have arrive, makes the comment a "good idea of mine to come here!"
Loves a good crime novel but gallops through them far too quickly and then moans, he needs a good book to read.
Drives - ultra fussy about his BMW, always inspecting it for incy, wincy marks - we have to take my Fiat 500 to the supermarket in case it gets scratched, because scratches on mine don't matter that much. NICE!
Has a great appreciation of nature, birds, trees, flowers etc. like me loves cats (or says he does) but apparently allergic step daughter tells me he was ok with the family cat when she was growing up!
Generous to a fault.
Very kind, affable, hospitable, great sense of humour, good conversationalist, interesting, except when he gets on the dreaded four letter word subject - golf! a good father and grandfather and an even better husband. I'm blessed.

Sorry for going off topic a bit (no pun intended) ... but where does the saying "love him to pieces" or "love him to bits" come from? I always think it's a strange way of expressing that you love someone!

I had one many years ago a young good looking angel so he went to live with them and I never bothered to seek another apart form a useless bit of s...e that I called a partner, however looking at the descriptions above I don't think I would like another I don't want:

Shirts to iron (don't iron my stuff)
Someone telling me what to so in my own house
