North Wales. I lived there for a few years and just loved the scenery both mountains and the sea.

Do you prefer sweet or savoury?

Im beginning to think UK now. So many lovely regions and I'm less bothered about sun these days. And hate airports. And flying.

What's your favourite area of the UK apart from where you live ?

Yes we're off to Spain at the end of the month then again in May and November with a visit to Holland in April.

Do you prefer the UK or abroad for holidays?

no haven't seen it

No, -an RSPCA rescue cat called, Lily. She loves bringing home daily offerings of dead birds and even rabbits! Can be quite gruesome!

I'll be taking part in the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) residential summer school in Lancaster this coming August. This will be my 19th consecutive year. A whole week of karate training - excellent!

Only the equivalent of 'Dad' dancing. Is that 'Mum' dancing? Never heard of that!

What are you looking forward to most this year?

Course I do! Nice Italian restaurant

Do you do any kind of dancing these days - ballroom, country, belly etc ?

I don't like them, I like it when people are asked to explain themselves in plain English. I puzzled for ages about ' blue sky thinking'.

How do you celebrate your birthday (if you do, ha ha)?

No, it's not dead because I just found it and performed CPR!

e.g. I hate 'pop of colour' and anything 'eclectic'

What book are you reading at the moment?

Twiglets and sloe gin tonight and lobster, duck breast and crème brulee tomorrow as I like to start the new year with a special meal. Home made crème brulee so I hope it works!

Have you ever worn fancy dress for New Year's Eve?

No, but last year two of my friends were flooded and they were out of their homes for about 8 months. This is the Thames we are talking about. Fortunately we live up a hill about 1/2 a mile from the flooding area.
