Do you, or did you used to enjoy horse riding?

Grandma2213 Sat 09-Jan-16 23:54:13

North Wales. I lived there for a few years and just loved the scenery both mountains and the sea.

Do you prefer sweet or savoury?

Bellanonna Sat 09-Jan-16 20:31:01

Im beginning to think UK now. So many lovely regions and I'm less bothered about sun these days. And hate airports. And flying.

What's your favourite area of the UK apart from where you live ?

Largolass Sat 09-Jan-16 15:37:34

Yes we're off to Spain at the end of the month then again in May and November with a visit to Holland in April.

Do you prefer the UK or abroad for holidays?

tinaf1 Sat 09-Jan-16 15:27:53

no haven't seen it

have you booked any holiday for 2016 yet

Imperfect27 Sat 09-Jan-16 14:26:28

No, -an RSPCA rescue cat called, Lily. She loves bringing home daily offerings of dead birds and even rabbits! Can be quite gruesome!

Havr you seen the film 'About Time'? (A swift entry in my top ten list - available on Netflix smile )

lizzypopbottle Sat 09-Jan-16 13:20:52

I'll be taking part in the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) residential summer school in Lancaster this coming August. This will be my 19th consecutive year. A whole week of karate training - excellent!

Do you have a dog?

Grandma2213 Fri 08-Jan-16 00:20:55

Only the equivalent of 'Dad' dancing. Is that 'Mum' dancing? Never heard of that!

What are you looking forward to most this year?

Bellanonna Thu 07-Jan-16 23:21:04

Course I do! smile Nice Italian restaurant

Do you do any kind of dancing these days - ballroom, country, belly etc ?

Nana3 Thu 07-Jan-16 23:14:51

I don't like them, I like it when people are asked to explain themselves in plain English. I puzzled for ages about ' blue sky thinking'.

How do you celebrate your birthday (if you do, ha ha)?

lizzypopbottle Thu 07-Jan-16 22:11:51

No, it's not dead because I just found it and performed CPR!

Do you hate overused buzz words and phrases?

e.g. I hate 'pop of colour' and anything 'eclectic' angry

Wheniwasyourage Thu 07-Jan-16 19:53:36

Wheniwasyourage Thu 31-Dec-15 18:19:20

ninathenana Thu 31-Dec-15 14:56:33

As I rarely need to go out early or later it doesn't matter to me.

Does your household have a satnav ?

shysal Thu 31-Dec-15 13:53:44

No, expect the worst and anything else is a pleasant surprise!

D you like the dark mornings and evenings?

lefthanded Thu 31-Dec-15 09:22:44

Always - but that's the optimist in me. A lifelong "glass-half-full" sort of chap.

Are you an optimist too?

grannylyn65 Thu 31-Dec-15 09:13:07

A Patricia Cornwell

Bellanonna Thu 31-Dec-15 08:31:47

What book are you reading at the moment?

rubysong Thu 31-Dec-15 07:32:17

Twiglets and sloe gin tonight and lobster, duck breast and crème brulee tomorrow as I like to start the new year with a special meal. Home made crème brulee so I hope it works!

Have you ever worn fancy dress for New Year's Eve?

NanKate Thu 31-Dec-15 07:19:54

No, but last year two of my friends were flooded and they were out of their homes for about 8 months. This is the Thames we are talking about. Fortunately we live up a hill about 1/2 a mile from the flooding area.

What will you be eating and drinking for NYE ?

rubysong Thu 31-Dec-15 06:29:49

Yes

Have you been affected by the floods?

shysal Thu 31-Dec-15 05:30:16
