. I think the problem with alcohol is that it encourages poor food choices - I am definitely less inclined to snack after dinner.
. DS is here for the weekend and does enjoy a glass of red with his Friday night steak - I'm happy with my shloer mixed with sparkling water.
But yes, the behaviour definitely changes when parents are on the scene and I usually stand there looking helpless - constantly repeating "but she's been so good all day/since school" etc... and then I remember that it was just the same when mine were young and staying with GP's ... LOL
