I have a particular favourite colour of kitten, but wonder how the rest of you feel.
I think little tabby kittens are the cutest, although black ones with white socks run them a close second.

On your marks, get set. . .

Ahh! I had an apricot, a tabby and an allsorts - senior moment - can't remember what that is called. They are only females. Someone must know????
Called Timothy, Toby and Tabitha.

Go!
I favour ginger kittens, I know I shall be castigated for it, they are the most frivolous kind, but so what?!

rosesarered Thu 27-Aug-15 17:07:15

Tortoiseshell, Apricot.

If you want contentious.....I don't like cats! Or kittens. Had a black cat called Willum about 60 years ago. He liked tinned spaghetti.

You've really opened a can or worms Alea!

whitewave Thu 27-Aug-15 17:14:46

I love torties too, my lovely little tortie kitten Jade who grew into a very large heavy cat with thick thick fur I still miss her..

Ana Thu 27-Aug-15 17:20:26

I love them all when they're kittens!

Actually, not so keen on the white ones with what look like pink teardrops in the corners of their eyes...

Alea Thu 27-Aug-15 17:33:40

Oh no! The M***** T***** thread is beating us!!
I need more kitten opinions! smile

Jane10 Thu 27-Aug-15 17:37:38

I never met a kitten I didn't like! Flat faced cats with weeping eyes are a bit off putting though.

Notso Thu 27-Aug-15 17:38:02

I know what you mean Ana, it looks as though their eyes need wiping.

merlotgran Thu 27-Aug-15 17:38:22

We've never had a kitten as we always get rescue cats from the CPL

shysal Thu 27-Aug-15 17:39:22

I like brown spotted Bengals for their leopard-like looks, but their behaviour can be challenging! All kittens are gorgeous, and I have had several different colours over the years. I think for me the least attractive was a grey tabby with no white.

whitewave Thu 27-Aug-15 17:40:23

We used to have a white kitten my daughter na ed him snowy toes. We moved from Devon to Sussex and for some reason he took exception even though he was uttef!y spoilt and moved in with my neighbour

annodomini Thu 27-Aug-15 17:40:57

I've had two marmalade cats, both as thick as two short planks but very lovable. I've met gorgeous Birman cats which were very friendly and tried to adopt me!

rosesarered Thu 27-Aug-15 17:41:15

Ana and Jane, I am rather upset by your statementssad

rosesarered Thu 27-Aug-15 17:41:34

Haha!

Ana Thu 27-Aug-15 17:43:26

Well, at least you weren't 'offended' roses! grin

rosesarered Thu 27-Aug-15 17:44:22

I like black kittens with white bibs and socks.I know, an unusual choice and I just love them! If I had one I would call it Jeeves.

whitewave Thu 27-Aug-15 17:44:57

A shorthaired tabby called Friday and a Black and white called Topper. That is the total of our cats.
Also Fred moved in from next door he was ginger.

annsixty Thu 27-Aug-15 17:47:21

My DD has 6mth old tabbys, they are adorable. Our last cat was half Siamese and half unknown , she was mink coloured and the most loving cat possible. I do like a cat with " markings " though.

rosesarered Thu 27-Aug-15 17:47:22

Our apricot cat was called Fred, he used to rugby tackle our feet during the night if we went to the bathroom.

Ana Thu 27-Aug-15 17:55:16

Ooh, I like this one! Siberian kitten.

ninathenana Thu 27-Aug-15 17:57:55

I would love a grey cat/kitten silver tabby, all grey or grey and white.
I half jokingly said to DH that when our 13 yr old goes I'm not getting another until I find a grey.
