Ok, my "name" is still up for discussion, but my point still stands. My parents have quietly and smugly adoring my kids (disclaimer-mainly they have been fab and my kids adore them).
But no one ever warned me what it would be like to have a grandchild.
Probably because I'm in my 30's 
..but the LOVE...the same as for my tribe...but none of the responsibilities!
I still get the odd person in my town whom I haven't waxed lyrical about my gd too shouting.."alright grandma?"..like its an insult. It really isn't. My gd is amazing!
So, (wrong forum I know), but AIBU to be really vocal about how amazing being a grandparent is?
