Just been online to Saga for quote......why is joint cover for DH and I £50 more expensive than two separate policies????

Not what I would expect. Is it not possible to take out the two separate polices?

I'll be doing that Nina, just wondered if anyone else had come across this. Individually I was £30. DH was £140 (cardiac/pvd issues) but combined was £220. Will try running figures again and see what happens. Think I will also check with bank as we have travel insurance as part of our current account. They won't accept DH but think they took me on for last hols

Never though of asking. All I know is that they were fearfully expensive so we will be looking elsewhere next time. It was well over £300 for the two of us (DH has COPD and I have AF )

Actually not thought of looking at single quotes. I have AF and high bp, but DH is fighting fit

When I took out travel insurance to cover my trip to Australia it was cheaper to take out an annual policy rather than a single trip policy!
