What is your favourite colour?

grandMattie Fri 14-Aug-15 16:25:40

Arthur

Probably blue - indigo/denim colour

I love all the posts. they really make me smile grin especially when feeling down; the less happy ones make me grateful for my many small mercies and blessings and other cliches.

So what if we behave like 5-year olds? The child in us comes out, and we reach our second childhoods that bit faster confused.

PS - Arthur Fish for (small) goldfish...

Falconbird Fri 14-Aug-15 16:37:04

We're getting confused now so I'll ask another question.

Have you got a favourite phase or saying?

shysal Fri 14-Aug-15 16:37:26

Do you drink tap water?

shysal Fri 14-Aug-15 16:38:55

Sorry, caused more confusion!

Favourite phrase 'Do as you would be done by'

Indinana Fri 14-Aug-15 16:40:36

confused

Which question(s) are you answering grandMattie?

Indinana Fri 14-Aug-15 16:42:45

Yes, I do drink tap water - it's lovely and soft here in the South West smile

What do you usually have for breakfast?

Grannyeggs Fri 14-Aug-15 16:47:47

I usually have porridge or fruit, but I occasionally give into the urge for a fry up, and then spend the rest of the day with chronic indigestion- not sure if it's worth it hmm
What is your favourite time of the day?

soontobe Fri 14-Aug-15 18:37:09

Early morning. The air feels fresher.

What would like to have had oppurtunity to do as a child?

soontobe Fri 14-Aug-15 18:42:16

I think grandMattie is answering the first few questions.
Welcome to grandMattie.

Falconbird Fri 14-Aug-15 19:03:55

I would have liked more ballet lessons. I had a few and then we moved house and there wasn't a ballet class in the area.

Did you play Cowboys and Indians when you were a child?

Leticia Fri 14-Aug-15 19:07:41

Yes, often.

Where are you going for your next holiday?

Grandma2213 Fri 14-Aug-15 23:07:22

I've rarely been able to afford a holiday but went to Rhodes last year with DS and family. A whole new experience for me! He has promised another one next year, maybe to Spain.
Can you remember the first film you ever saw and what was it? Mine was 'The Pyjama Game' with my mother but can't remember what it was about!

Falconbird Sat 15-Aug-15 07:13:44

The first film I ever saw was a period drama about ladies in crinolines, with a second film (always had two in those days) of sea life in glorious technicolour, gave me nightmares for weeks.

Did you see Life of Bryan? - it was banned in some areas.

Grannyeggs Sat 15-Aug-15 07:34:36

Mine was Lady and the Tramp - still my favourite Disney film. Can you remember the first play, musical or pantomime you saw in the theatre?

feetlebaum Sat 15-Aug-15 07:41:16

Disney's Snow White - and I had nightmares about the wicked Queen!

(PS Falconbird: Monty P's Life of Brian was banned in some areas ^that didn't even contain any cinemas!^)

Who used to say "Ee, if ever a man suffered...!"

Falconbird Sat 15-Aug-15 08:20:36

feetlebaum grin

I don't know who said that. Sounds like Al Reed.

Who was it?

Indinana Sat 15-Aug-15 10:30:30

Well I had to google that, because I had no idea who said it. This is what I found:

What was the name of your boyfriend/girlfriend on your first proper 'date'?

Indinana Sat 15-Aug-15 10:31:57

Click on the image to read it.... a little annoying that the 'x' to close it obscures some of the text hmm

Bellanonna Sat 15-Aug-15 11:10:24

Ron. Wonder where he is now!!

Did you feel sad on your last day at school?

ninathenana Sat 15-Aug-15 16:33:41

No, but several of my year cried. Most of whom I wouldn't have expected too.

Can you run upstairs?
(I flippin can't)

Wheniwasyourage Sat 15-Aug-15 17:59:35

Yes, at the moment!

Trad jazz or modern?

grandMattie Sat 15-Aug-15 18:01:37

Indinana, the Favorite colour and name of goldfish... but missed the boat. i'll shut up! blush, blush

soontobe Sat 15-Aug-15 18:53:01

grandMattie. No problem. Just answer the previous posters question when and if you want to.

Not sure I know the difference between Trad jazz and modern Wheniwasyourage, so I will let someone else answer that one, and go and google them.

Bellanonna Sat 15-Aug-15 19:15:55

Trad. Soon, you don't know what you are missing !

Did you play any sport for your school ?
