[I have copied this from mumsnet]

What is your favourite colour?

Nandalot Sat 08-Aug-15 12:07:02

Should really have proof read before posting.. Am aware of the errors!

Nandalot Sat 08-Aug-15 12:05:30

several when I was younger if I could be as mature and confident as now.
But I suppose your really mean the best year. Four year ago when my daughter had her twins. We were very hands on..she is a single mum, and because she lives close. We shared lots of the special moments with her. My other GCs live in Spain so it was really special to do this.
When I had my two children I had terrible post natal depression, was doing a degree while I had one and a Cert. Ed. For the other so didn't really enjoy that first year.

Taken ages so hope this doesn't cross post.

My question?

What is your biggest regret?

soontobe Sat 08-Aug-15 11:17:06

Somewhere else mainly. Only tend to do city breaks if we are visiting someone.

Which whole year of your life would you like to relive again?

Bellanonna Sat 08-Aug-15 11:02:29

I love those kind of days out. Great Compton within reach but never been. (Just an aside to NanK - brought back great memories of days out on bike with picnic in saddle bag. Oh those were the days).

City breaks or breaks somewhere else?

ninathenana Sat 08-Aug-15 08:34:37

We're going to Great Compton Gardens.

Would this be a good day out for you ?

Leticia Sat 08-Aug-15 08:00:15

Slightly eccentric.

Are you doing anything exciting today?

NanKate Sat 08-Aug-15 07:44:59

I had an idyllic childhood living in the heart of Birmingham. Used to go cycling with my friends with a white bread and dripping sandwich, an apple and a bottle of Tizer. I would give anything to relive those carefree days. smile

Do you have any unusual relatives ?

Falconbird Sat 08-Aug-15 07:36:05

On more than one occasion. Can't say why too close to home.

Were you happy for most of your childhood?

Grandma2213 Fri 07-Aug-15 23:28:52

Not in the last 10 years but once took a school party to the Lake District for the weekend. The teaching staff ended up making tea in the kitchen in the middle of the night as the noise (and smell) of 'many' 9/10 yr old children sleeping in the dorm with us was horrendous.

Have you ever been really terrified and why?

Leticia Fri 07-Aug-15 18:27:17

In the winter.

Have you been Youth Hostelling in the last 10 years?

hildajenniJ Fri 07-Aug-15 18:13:09

Do you wear slippers indoors?

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 18:01:10

Salami, mortadella, all cheeses, but had MI in 1999 so try to be a bit more careful. Tho not very.

Love being NT member so cheating by answering 2 questions

Are you sensitive or quite resilient ?

soontobe Fri 07-Aug-15 17:44:28

I think I was a member as a trial offer once.

What would you eat a lot more of, if it wasnt fattening?

ninathenana Fri 07-Aug-15 17:41:31

Sail, your holiday starts the moment you step on board. If it was business then flying for quickness.

Are you a member of the N T ?

hildajenniJ Fri 07-Aug-15 15:58:27

White every time.

X posts, sorry!

Would you rather sail or fly across the Atlantic.

hildajenniJ Fri 07-Aug-15 15:56:47

Up north the further the better.

Would you rather fly or sail across the Atlantic

Indinana Fri 07-Aug-15 15:51:43

Prefer living Down South (South West), but love Up North for holidays - Lake District, Yorkshire etc..

Do you prefer red or white wine?

Falconbird Fri 07-Aug-15 15:41:50

It suddenly went really hot here in the W. Country.

(Going back to my question which got a bit muddled -)

Do you prefer down South or Up North?

granjura Fri 07-Aug-15 14:57:44

a pottery bird DD1 made when she was about 12

is it hot where you are? (as it is here)

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 13:28:47

Mothers' day presents from years back - a little lace hankie, never used, a cup saying Magic Mum, leather gloves for 50th, a special birthday card, hand painted, with lovely message from DD2 aged about 7. Nothing material.

Interesting question so same to next poster please

Indinana Fri 07-Aug-15 10:08:55

confused Falconbird did you forget to refresh?

Falconbird Fri 07-Aug-15 05:52:36

Yes I've been there twice.

Which do you prefer - down south or up north?

ninathenana Fri 07-Aug-15 01:04:59

People say DD is like me. I'm morphing into DM.

Apart from family what's your most treasured possession ?

Grandma2213 Thu 06-Aug-15 23:49:25

Yes when I was 19 with a friend. Stayed in a Youth Hostel and hitchhiked to the North staying in Youth Hostels and Climbing Club huts. Happy days!

Do you have relatives that look like you?

Bellanonna Thu 06-Aug-15 22:44:32
