Good Morning Everyone,
Its a grey but windless start this morning here in Brackley , am hoping for improvement later .
On the health front still do not feel 100% , but a slightly changed review at my surgery due hospital discharge , as I am taking a different statins to what I was originally prescribed as they had given me nightmares, also start a course of diabetes tablets as well.

Good morning, grey and miserable here in the north east.
I get terrible nightmares, with statins, too. I could write horror film scripts.
I have been up since 5.20am, would have been nice to have breakfast in the garden but that is not going to happen.

Morning Mick! I hope the change of medication helps and you start to feel better soon.

We ha e a bright start in North Leicestershire but I think the weather is going to get worse. I've a confusing day today as I am going to Sainsbury's on Friday rather than Thursday and then I'm going to see mum! confused

Enjoy your Fridays everyone! sunshine

Bonjour to you all.
Much banging, flashing and blowing yesterday and I thought, "Yes, rain!".
Well, it didn't rain.
Nor will it today.
Maybe tomorrow??

Hope you get back onto a even keel soon, Mick.

Morning All. Morning Mick. It's good to hear your medication has been updated. Sometimes we can be left on repeat prescriptions for too long without a proper review. Hopefully you'll be back to normal soon.

Grey, still and muggy here this morning after a bit of rain overnight. I think there may have been thunder - or I may have dreamt it.

Don't know what we're doing today - it depends on the state of DH after his nurse's appointment to get his ears unblocked. Hopefully he'll come home a hearing happy bunny!

Have a successful Friday Everyone.

Mick my husband takes statins and they also give him nightmares as the do a friend of ours so I think that is common.
Relax and give yourself time to recover this muggy weather doesn't help does it?

Still overcast but windy here in Sussex. To Mum's today to collect her washing, shopping etc.

Happy Friday everyone from sunny Colchester. Looks like it's going to be a nice day here.
Taking DGS to the coast for a bit of crabbing and sandcastle building, we are lucky to live only a short drive from a choice of lovely beaches. Probably Mersea Island today.
Hope your new treatment brings an improvement in your health michael. It is great how we all worry about our virtual friends on here,

Mick - the joys of turning 39 and starting on various life maintaining medication. All have side effects but not taking the wretched things has it's own side effects. Good to have you back

Good morning from the High Weald.
Grey, muggy and calm here, it's been very humid here for days, had to increase antihistamines and take ventral in for breathing.

Grey here too. Oh when can we get up and draw curtains onto a blue sky? My DH has weird dreams on statins too Mick. Last night he was doing an operation! on an anaesthetist who was also the patient. I think it was a revenge dream.

Ive just come in from garden as its come over very dark its not been too bad so far this morning iwouldnt like to say what its going to do now though
mickI took statins for 5 yrs and had realy bad legs times when i couldn't get up my stairs.I decided to talk to my doctor about coming off of them
cutting a long story short ive been off of them now for 3 yrs colestrol is fine and no trouble with my legs

annodomini Fri 17-Jul-15 12:04:35

Belated good morning all. Good luck with the new statins, Mick. I've been taking them for years with no ill effects but I did ask the doctor to reduce the dosage a year ago as I thought I'd been doing all right before the lab recommended an increase after a perfectly normal blood test result. I can rarely remember dreams, never mind nightmares!

loopylou Fri 17-Jul-15 12:21:37

Good luck Michael - I do hope you quickly feel better.

Miserably grey day here in Wiltshire; I completely over optimistically hung out the washing at 7.00.....since when it's barely stopped raining hmm
That wasn't on the weather forecast!

At least it'll be very well rinsed I guess smile

Good afternoon all. I did all the floors earlier before I went out, stopped when the vacuum needed emptying for the second time. (What can I say, it's very sandy and dusty outside this weather grin)
Then as I was going out for lunch with a group of friends to remember another good friend at the same time as her funeral was being held in the UK I phoned to find out what time was best. It's not until next Friday.hmm
