I have a good egg gadget, it slices hard-boiled eggs into slices. Bought it from a junk shop, along with a gadget for getting the stones out of cherries.

Eeuugghhh . There is something really quite repulsive about that slimy looking egg oozing slowly out and then falling sideways.
