DH hates tea. I cringe when somebody offers him one because he won't just say, 'No thanks, I prefer coffee.' We have to go through the whole sorry saga of how he was put off by his father who drank tea all day, every day and poor little DH had to make it even though he had to stand on tiptoe to reach the kettle.... etc., etc., etc.
I try and jump in first and shout, 'He'll have coffee!'
Everyone thinks I'm terribly bossy.
